Ruby and Kessler look so inquisitive, and sweet Gizzie is all snuggled up with Mum right where he belongs. Ruby certainly does have her eye on the sky. Good girl!

Here's another pic of Gizzie, from last month.
This is a nightly occurence...all three of them singing, as the HO's car pulls up the driveway. They only do it for his car, even in the dark I don't know how they can tell, but they do.
I have a video, but neither Photobucket nor Youtube will accept it...Grrrr!

That is some howl! It looks like Gizzie is a mini-wolf, almost, in that picture.

It looks like fun at your BIL's house. Is he on your side, or the HO's side, of the family? Don't kid yourself, the Wine fridge did not escape my attention either! What a lovely gathering place.

That's hilariously adorable It's funny how they manage to tell, Dakota will not make a peep when my grandmother's car pulls up (okay sometimes he squeals in excitement) without even seeing it. Yet he'll come unglued when he hears a stranger's car pull up. Maybe the sound of the car?

Cel, I know that dogs learn the sound of a particular vehicle. I can't remember who told me, but I know of someone who had taken their car to the shop for the day and came home in a "loaner". Normally, the dog of the house would alert the entire family when the "usual" car was within earshot. With the loaner, the dog didn't recognize the car and therefore did not alert.

I love that photo of Gizzie as he looks like a miniature Wolf! I am always amused by dogs' or Hounds' voices. I love to see the perfect "O" of the mouth.

Lucky use to started whining when I was a block from home or so the OH said , he still can tell the car but his hearing is going so he usually sleeps till I'm almost in now LOL!
