Both you and Gaby have a great eye! Guess another reason your good friends.

Thank you! And yes. :P It's always good to discuss shots with Gaby, when I'm unsure! Just like it's good discussing them with you guys on here. :D

Another three shots.
One of Lily. She was smiling at her daddy. (:

Second of a duck! It took feed right out of my hand. It was so gorgeous.

And third one is of a boat that was 'stranded' at the petting zoo we went to. (:

Now I have!! I always forget to check my news feed!! Not because I don't care about what's happening to other people....I just literally forget!! I realise after a while that I haven't checked on someone for that time and I then go to their page and see what they've been up to. I really need to get myself into the news feed checking habit!! Anyway

It looks great! You have to upload your progress with the filters so we can see how each one affects your photos. Filters, I think, are underrated perhaps.

Saz I love the photos. Lily is so cute as always xD

First, a couple of shots of my mums eye. It's the same photo, but I did a slightly different edit on them. (:

With great difficulty! Haha.
I put the camera on auto focus, and then basically held it behInd me, aiming randomly until I got this shot (along with about 50 failed shots.) :P

Saz that photo of Lily is great! Her eyes just make me smile

You know from fb that I really like the photo of your mum's eye. It still looks like a flower to me, very pretty!

I thought the photo of the plait was fantastic, but now doubly so! Your hair looks so thick in that photo, just gorgeous. My first thought when I saw it was, boy would I LIKE to have that thick hair! Nice job

I love your pictures Saz :)

My favourite hairstyle of yours was last New Year, when you came on your own and mum curled your hair! It looked so nice

Sadie ~Thank you! I absolutely love her eyes. :D

My hair really isn't as thick as it looks! It's kind of.. Medium thickness? I would say, haha. But it seems to work well with numerous hair styles!!

Gabs ~ Thanks!! I loved my hair like that too. Really want to do it again! Haha. Maybe for our mini celebration? ;)

For those of you that would like to see what my hair looked like last New Year (The one before the one that just passed..) here's a shot, with Gaby added in too. ;) This was taken by Gaby on her camera with the timer.

Then a shot I took this New Years, on an evening walk with Gaby, our friend Roo, Monty and Woody. (:

And a moon shot I got tonight. (:

Saz all your pictures are just amazing & what a great shot of the hair! The picture of you and Gaby is adorable, two very cute gals!

Lily is so precious ♥

The B&W is very cool, how did you get such a sharp picture of the moon. Did you use a tripod? Girl you could go pro!!

You know I love those pictures, Saz! Especially the moon one, it's awesome!

i went to my local zoo again today, to get some more pictures for my coursework

So here are my three favourites...

Right, as I've always forgotten before:

**Warning! Rodent (chipmunk) and lizard (just the tail though) pics!

I'll put the Chipmunk at the bottom with a gap between it and the lizard tail, in case Deb wants to look, but she is now armed with the power of being able to see my pictures even if they're not on here

My favourite picture, just because I love the eye and how it seems to speak
This is a young male White Rhino, endangered species

Chameleon tail:

 I hope my coursework goes well. As in, I hope I get a good grade.....I am so in love with photography, there's nothing I've ever wanted more!!

I don't know if Deb is ok with Chipmunks, and just doesn't like mice? Anyway, better safe than sorry!

Gaby even though I commented on FB, hope you don't mind if I do again! These are fabulous, great eye. Did you use your 300mm on these?

The Chameleon tail is so artistic, I really love that one. The White Rhino is awesome (and I normally don't use that word)
The Chipmunk is so sweet.

Thank you Kian! It's nice when a lot of effort doesn't go to waste (ie you stay up til 11pm editing, up to 1am printing off stuff and people comment saying they're good = worth the effort  )

Yes I did use the 300 :) its a tele-macro so I used macro on a few shots where the animals were a bit closer to me. Handy lens for a zoo because it's a sort of in-between. Ie. I'd like a 500mm lens to get right in close to some animals but I'd have to be constantly changing lenses because it would be TOO BIG for animals that were closer. So the 70-300 serves well and is sensible xD

I'm going to a photographic meetup at this zoo on Wednesday after school. They meet every other Wednesday. I'm going to join it or definite because during the summer months they take trips out to forests and they also have days where you get to go around the zoo taking photos out of normal hours (ie no people in your way haha)

I'm excited for that!
