I can't bear to think about it Linda. :(

Buddy is again, such a lovely fellow! These dogs are so amazing. I'm glad that at least some of them are locally broadcast, and that ends in good results, but I wish they could all be Nationally shown. Whenever a Network News show features adoptable dogs, they have a 100% success rate.

It's probably a good thing you don't live too close to me, as I'm only allowed 3 dogs, and I now have 2. When I lived in the Country, I would have taken them all. I am often astounded at how few people consider rescuing a dog that is not a puppy, especially those who want one that is already house trained, good with children, etcetera. Any dog, be it a puppy or a grown dog will have an adjustment period into a new environment that usually lasts about 2 weeks, if that. As often as I am able, I encourage people looking for a dog to consider an "older" Rescue, i.e., not a puppy.

I hope we hear of Buddy's adoption soon!

Autumn got adopted, by her foster mom. She had the same situation as me, adult Pit Bull, wasn't huge overgrown blue dog, no bites, didn't want euthanasia, cracked and adopted. :P

She currently has a new foster, a puppy estimated to be under 3 weeks. Someone brought her in saying their dog just showed up with her. Which is why she has a boo-boo on her head.

Accidentally shrunk this too much... too lazy to re-upload

Precious! I wonder if the other dog was trying to find help for the baby. Nature is amazing like that. I hope this wee pup recovers fully, and bless your friend for Fostering one so young. I don't even want to imagine what has caused that huge bump on that wee head.

It's supposedly from the other dog's teeth, however I don't know much details and it's not unusual for the public to lie to better their image.

I can see that actually, as perhaps the other dog was trying to pick up the pup by the scruff, but missed a little. Obviously the other dog was not trying to hurt the puppy. Hopefully that will heal, as it's a love nip really. :D

A day late on these, my bad guys.
More Buddy pictures and Clyde did in fact go to the rescue.

Love the pics of little Buddy. So glad he's coming out of his shell, and he really does look like he's smiling. :D He's smaller than I originally thought, but now I REALLY want to take him home.....

And that little 3-week old baby... I hope she finds a forever home soon, or as soon as she is old enough to go to one. Since she's so young, any idea what happened to the mom? Or if there were other puppies in the litter?

I've been contacting someone interested in rescuing him, she got a hold of a rescuer she knows and they called up. They're just waiting for an okay from the Captain of Animal Control. I'll probably be doing the transport. :D

And that pup is the only one the folks' dog brought home, so she's the only one they found.

With his incredible looks, I can't imagine Buddy will have to wait too long for a home! He is one of the most striking looking animals I've ever seen! Wow! I love his smile, too.

Poor baby. I hope she gets lots of canine attention. She'll need a knowledgeable, nurturing role model to teach her how to be a proper dog i.e. bite inhibition, table manners (no snarling at the dinner bowl!) etc... This is such a critical time in her development. But I'm sure you will rise to the challenge, and raise a perfect puppy and find her a perfect home! ;-D

Autumn was a mother before, she and another dog are owned by the lady fostering her. She also takes her to work everyday and has relatives who always bring dogs over. She's fostered so many puppies in the past, the little gal is in good hands.

Those are wonderful pictures of Buddy! What an adorable little chappy. I'm sure if he's featured on the local broadcast, he'll be snapped up in no time to a good, loving forever home. 8)

I'm glad to hear the pup is with a knowledgeable Foster Mum, who also has older dogs that naturally nurture. One of our Goldens was like that. She was a terrific Mum, and would happily adopt any wee one that needed her. It sounds like that sweet babe is going to be alright, and is already surrounded by angels. :D

Clyde is stunning. He reminds me a bit of a german shepherd that our local rescue has called (wait for it)..............KIBA!

Buddy is a real cutie too. You have very good looking dogs at your rescue.

Tracy, that is something as "Kiba" is not a common name by any stretch! How ironic. :?

Kiba is indeed a unusual name, how funny!

Tomorrow I'll be picking Buddy up, he'll be staying the night and we'll head out Sunday to meet with the other transporter. :D
