The photo is precious beyond all! My two don't cuddle with other unless I'm sandwiched in between. They both have a no touching each other rule between themselves, I can't imagine a cat in the mix.

Your picture is priceless!

Precious pictures, Ashley. I especially loved the cat in the toilet. My boys have always had a no touch rule but it seems to be changing lately since they both want the sofa at the same time.

They use to have the no touching rule. At first Monster would always run away from Remi when she tried to cuddle. I think that was because she was younger and would always beat him up so he had to get used to the fact that she wasn't always going to try and play with him every time she was near.
The first few times the Eskimo tried cuddling with Remi she DID NOT like it. She thought that he was attacking her or something. Since Eskimo was persistent she learned to get use to it.

I started brushing the dogs teeth daily again, I'm not sure why I stopped.
It's a little struggle brushing their teeth but not in a bad way. Remi LOVES the taste of the toothpaste and she more than loves for the toothbrush to be in her mouth. The only problem I have with brushing her teeth is the fact that she wants to chew on the toothbrush. Monster's more difficult just for the fact that his mouth is shaped different and is hard to get to the teeth.

Isn't it wonderful when they all grow up enough to mesh? It makes for a peaceful home. Just looking at them makes me feel warm and cozy. :D Eskimo has been persistent, and I remember that starting when Remi had her surgery. Good on ya' Eskimo! ♥

I think smaller dogs' mouths are harder with which to work than larger dogs. There is less to hold, and the wee ones can be a bit more squirmy. Good luck with the teeth brushing!

This winter hasn't been really that cold, I mean, right now it's 40F! To me that's the perfect temperature. It only got below freezing a few times.

I just know you are all going to love this! It's so priceless! :D

The cuddling doesn't last too long most times though. About 20 minutes of the "cat blanket" Remi had enough and went somewhere to cool down. Eskimo actually goes straight for Remi when she's sleeping on the couch now.

I discovered a fun new game for Remi!
On the days where the snow is sticky I take one of her soccer balls and roll it in the snow (I accidentally found that the snow sticks to it!) until it is a huge snowball. Then I tell her to get it. She has a blast destroying it. After awhile she gets close to the center and finds the soccer ball and it takes her quite awhile to get it out and after that she does a victory lap with the soccer ball. :D 8)

Eskimo seems to have always had a special place in his heart for his Remi! Your cats have great personalities, as well as your dogs. :D

What a great game for Remi! It's no wonder your animals are all so happy, and are such characters. Is Monster a fan of the snow? I suspect not...but he could fool me, and perhaps enjoy a "nose slow plough". 8)

No Monster doesn't like the snow. Usually in the winter months I have to FORCE him to go outside but this year he actually wants to go out without being made too, which could be because it hasn't gotten too cold or perhaps since Remi is always going out he likes the company.

I'm not sure if Eskimo cares much about Remi. He will just cuddle with anything that is a heat source that will let him. Every time the heater turns on he charges to it. I believe it's also because he lived on a dairy farm before living with us, so he's not scared of anything.
