Hoooray! you got the chocolates! I'm glad it made it there safe. I'm glad that Blue's also enjoying the goofballs  Kira loves them too  Happy you love the cable car, it's one of the favorite things that tourists love to ride when they come to San Francisco. So when you come here to visit you'll want to ride the cable cars also

Emma, I got mine just now and I am going to try to get though this without crying. The package you sent is wonderful. We don't have those kind of Purina biscuits here in the States and the chocolate looks too yummy. It is cool because the dog biscuit box is written with Irish slang, it is a keepsake for me and the card was wonderful.

When the postman dropped it off and I brought it inside, the dogs went crazy sniffing the box. They were so excited. I gave them each a cookie right away! I can't wait to try the chocolates, I have never heard of Lily O'Briens, so it is so cool to get chocolate from another Country!

The reason I am crying is that my family is gone, I am basically the only one left and have been for several years now, I am having extensive back surgery in a week or 2 (which will keep me in bed for almost 3 months), plus smaller surgeries for the last 6 weeks and am pretty much knocked out on heavy pain meds most of the time. So depressed is an understatement. I have not received a package in the mail for more years than I can count, so when your beautifully wrapped package came today I just sat down and started crying. They were tears of joy. Thank you so much, you made my holiday. I am sending you a PM as well

Issa, thank you so very much for coming up with this idea

oh Staci that is such a touching story, thank you. I'm sorry to hear that you will be going through surgeries after surgery  I will keep you in my prayers and pray for your speedy recovery. Things will work out, keep in mind we're all here thinking of you and we'll patiently anticipate your posts. It fills my heart to know that at least one of us made your Holiday special. Take care.

Thanks you Issa and Caramel, I am sorry I made this a sad topic now, the package just really made me feel good and I wanted to share with you all why.

Thank you for you prayers and thoughts, I can use all the help I can get right now. You all make me feel special and a special thanks again to you Issa for the idea and Elmer23 and Blue for the lovely package.

Now as far as chocolate from Ireland, it is delicious , smooth, rich and creamy and the dogs love their UK biscuits

How is it that now is the first time I'm hearing about this!?!?! How could I miss it! I'm incensed! But I'm so glad you are all having such a wonderful time.

Staci,
I have had my spine fused twice, and am awaiting an MRI right now so we can decide if we need to do more surgery. So I totally sympathise with you. I'm sorry you feel so alone, but you're really not, and we are all thinking of you. If you need to vent, or even just ask questions, like about how to cope with a body cast for eight months (twice!), I'm your girl.

Staci ~

I am so sorry that you are having surgery. I will think positive thoughts for you and say an extra prayer for you when I go to bed at night. My best friend has severe scoliosis and I see her pain and what she goes though with her back. I wish you the best.
