Vanessa, those are lovely photos! The Cabin looks so quaint, and the old Mill is lovely. I do envy the leaves and greenery on the trees. :D

Your OH looks like a happy fellow who is enjoying his time away with his beautiful Bride and sweet Waffles ♥

Tennessee is beautiful. One of these old days, I may even have an opportunity to visit.

Thanks Deb :D That's the cabin we rented when we went away this past Sunday/Monday in Pigeon Forge. The campground is beautiful and we are already planning our summer vacation to go back.

Sorry no pics of our cabin up here on our property....i just haven't had a chance to take a walk up there since we got back...but i will have some soon :)

I love the cabin your rented, what a great place for R&R, you OH looks like a very happy man. Did you visit Dollywood while you were there? I have been through Tenessee, it was so green and pretty. I like old Mills, that one is very cool.

Ice would love to join Waffles at the lake, that water is so clear and pretty. My he has grown!

I love your chickens, Rhode Island Reds? They are good layers, love the huge egg! OH has some chickies picked out for us, I am adding a Polish Crested for fun.

(I had written more, it was lost in DP Heaven somewhere)

Thank you, Kian! It was a WONDERFUL place for a little R&R! The OH is a very happy man, i must say...i've never met anyone who is more thrilled about life...it melts my heart. We didn't go to Dollywood this visit...but we are looking into getting season passes...especially, now because we go so often out that way :D

I'll bet Waffles would love to play with Ice in the lake!!! He's such a friendly, good dog with a huge sweet heart. We call him our "silly heart". Don't get me wrong, Triscuit is well loved, too...but such a different dog...OH BOY! What a handful  I will get some pics up of him soon, too...

The chickens are Rhode Island Reds, you're right. They are great layers! And we just love them! They have personality! And they like to come right inside the house...i will have to put a pic up of them inside the "mud room" at the back of the house...they make us laugh!!

I would love to see your coop! I forgot to ask, is that Hondie that took you to that wonderful place?

I love seeing the new and improved Hondie!! WooHoo.....

I love your house, it's perfect.

The chickens in the mud room, that's great. I have a fun story shared to me by a friend who knew a lady that has a few chickens. They are her pets and very well cared for. She has a dog door where in the door there is a pen where the chickens can come in & out to see what she is doing. I laughed and said that sounds like my goats! OH rolled his eyes and said don't get any ideas about putting the dog pen inside the dog door so they can come in and out...mmmmmm I might have to get a another pen! Chickens, goats and dogs coming in and out, could be interesting and afterall they would be contained on the tile. I looked the chicks yesterday, getting a Polish Crested, a Rhode Island Red and a couple of Araucanas.

That is a cute picture of you two in Gatlinburg, I love the fall scene. The Dukes of Hazzard Museum, that looks fun. I met David Soul, he was sooo nice. Passing through in a old beat up van to go fishing in Utah, just a normal guy. How far are you from Nashville, we are planning a trip there sometime. OH really wants to go & I thought about this fall, with gas prices the flights are so high right now.
