Hello Everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I am adding to my family and I am getting a Mini Australian Shepherd in about seven weeks. My baby is now three weeks old, and I am so excited! Looking forward to conversing with folks on the board.

Welcome to DP, I answered your post in the Aussie Thread as well. I am thrilled you are not getting your pup any younger than 8 weeks, that is perfect. You may come across some die hard Aussie owners who scuff at the Minis, ignore them. I came across one on Saturday who did that to me when I mentioned Allie, of course I'm not one to let it go. I have two friends who are Aussies Breeders and love Allie, it isn't all Breeders. If they come on the Aussie Board, I'm quick to confront them!

In the meantime, if there are any questions, lots of experienced dog owners here who can help.
