Not sure what happened with his beak or eye, we're guessing he's been attacked by another critter. He gets a feed from us twice a day and the rest of the time he manages to catch his own.

Hi Caramel, it's great to have you post and see your garden friends. I love the Kookaburra, I would love to see one of those one day when I make it to Australia. Iron Jack is a good name for the Magpie, I too wonder what happened to his beak, he looks well. I love all the birds, thanks for sharing.

Hi Emma! Great to hear from you....I must admit I was afraid to click on your post in case they were rodents of some sort, so I had my son Ben give the thread a cursory glance for me first.

The Birds are beautiful! I do like the Finches....they are such tiny, cute things. I think it's sweet that you've named some of the birds. :D

Caramel, Such pretty bird friends you have, so different from what's here in the US.

I just had a blue finch at my feeders last week, I've never seen one of those around here before, he was beautiful!

I've been busy in the garden trying to get some good pictures of the birds.
Pretty little boy lorikeet.

Sulphur crested cockatoo

Shy pair of rosellas, they are so shy it's really hard to get a good picture of them.

Black faced cuckoo shrike.

Baby galah

When he matures he'll get nice and pink like this

I will always put an alert if I'm putting up pictures of rodent like critters. Ohh a blue finch, we sometimes have a blue kingfisher but I haven't been quick enough to get a shot. And Kian when you come to Australia make sure you come and visit me.

One day we will make it there. Your birds are so pretty and colorful, it's hard to imagine seeing those birds in the wild. I would spends hours out there with my camera to, what beauty to enjoy!.
