Hello

Postby Teeny83 on Sun Jun 17, 2012 3:18 am

Hi everyone, hope you all have been doing well.

its been so long since I've been on here. After Klint passed I got very sick with Clostridium difficile ( C- Diff ) I was sick for 3 months with this awful disease and ended up in the hospital for 3 days in February for it they had to put me on some super antibiotic. I finally started feeling better in march. Then I had to go to the dentist because my teeth were bothering me and I had to get a few pulled.

Then in April I had a wonderful blessing happen. I found out I was pregnant!!!! I couldn’t believe it this was a very pleasant surprise for us. The first 3 months were awful and then summer was miserable because of the heat. My dad got very sick with his liver liver cirrhosis he passed away in September. His last words to me were "my little baby girl". This was very hard on me trying to juggle work, planning a funeral, taking care of the family and myself. I had a few false contractions but, was ok.

I was Full term 10 months and 3 days over due when I went in on December 19th. I was up all night sick both ways I thought I had food poisoning. They enduced me. and my son Brady Isaac was born December 20th 2011 at 5:45 AM weighing 7lbs 14oz 20 in.

Brady was a very healthy baby until he caught a cough from one of the kids at the end of January we took him to the hospital because he would turn all red. I told the Dr I thought it was whooping cough and they laughed at me. So they only tested for RSV and he tested positive for that. We went home with nothing to do for it. Several trips back to the Dr in February they finally tested for whooping cough and sure enough we were right. They gave him an antibiotic for this but he coughed so badly one night he turned purple so we brought him to the ER and we ended up staying 5 days in the hospital with him.

While this was going on we were in the process of moving back to the cities.

We have been in our home since March 12th and Brady is doing just fine he will be 6 months on June 20th and is a quite a character. His a spitten image of me. I am so in love with that little boy!!

So I hope Ill be able to make time to post again on here

Stephanie it's great to hear from you, such up and down times in your life. I knew you had lost Klint, I think that was the last time you posted. So sorry to hear of your illness, that can be serious, so I can see why your were in the hospital. Glad your over that, hope it doesn't return.

Sorry to hear about your father, wish he could have seen your baby boy.

CONGRATS ON BRADY!!! Sounds like the few months were hard, now all is good and he is healthy, beautiful and yes I can see you in him. We need a mother/son picture! I'm so thrilled for you, I do hope all the bad is behind you!

Brady is adorable and so happy!! The joy radiates in your post, what a precious boy. ♥

I do remember you were talking about moving to the city, sounds like it is all working out for you.

How is Daisy? I do hope you can post again, you are a busy lady and mother!

Hi nezza its nice meeting you on the DP and thank you

Thank you Kian its nice to hear from you. How are Allie and Ice doing? Are you all settled in your new home?

Daisy is doing fine she was quite jealous at first and didn't know her boundaries with him she almost jumped on him a few times jumping on the couch, but she is getting better. She actually kisses him now. She seems to be in-tuned with his crying cause when hes crying from being scared (if the kids make a loud noise) she goes over to make sure hes ok. She still get mad when I take him on a walk and not her, but its hard for me to do both. Daisy and I just started running together again so she gets her mommy time still, and she enjoys that.

I only have a few pics of Brady and I cause I don't have much time to actually get ready for my day.

You look amazing for just having a baby and yes I can see you in him. He is the most adorable baby boy and I love the picture of Daisy and him together on the couch. Brady has the best smile!

We are settled in New Mexico on a little farm. We have added 2 Mini donkeys, 2 mini goats and a few chickens. My training business has taken off and at times I have been booked 2-3 months out. Allie and Ice are great, Ice is competing in Agility, Conformation and Rally. He won best in show and scored 95 in rally, Agility is coming up. Yes I am busy and finally liking it here.

Is it like a little hobby farm? Sounds so cute! How is the weather? Does it get pretty warm?
Thats wonderful to hear about your training is that something you can do right from home? Wow Congratulations to Ice!! How exciting! He is such a handsome boy.

Wow! You have been very busy! Brady is simply adorable! Despite his rough beginnings, he looks like he's a very happy little guy. He's so sweet, and I love the bubbles! That pic of Daisy lying on his chest looks so much like my Kiba lying on Paul, it's uncanny. The look of love is the same.

Welcome back! Oh, and you look great (biotch!)! LOL!

Teeny, I had received your PM earlier today and hadn't yet checked the DP! I then saw your post in the Misc. thread and knew I was behind.

Brady is absolutely beautiful! What a gorgeous baby boy you have. I love hearing you talk about him, as I understand that language. ♥ The photos are lovely, and I particularly liked the one of Brady and Daisy. They will be best friends in no time at all, if they aren't already. I'm so happy for your joy. :D

My goodness though, you had to walk a long road to get there. I am sorry for your loss, and your health issues. I'm glad you were better and able to have Brady.

You look just amazing, and if you weren't so sweet, it would be hard to like you. :P I'm kidding...you look SO happy. You are radiant. 8)

Kris Thank you.

Throughout my pregnancy Kaleb (daves youngest) gave me a real hard time (as always) he kept saying
things like “we're not getting 10 presents this year for Christmas because of the baby”. He better not be born on my birthday. “babies are expensive” The funny thing is he wasn't born ON his birthday he was born the day before lol. After Brady was born Kaleb has shown quite a lot of interest in Brady and he tries to play with him and makes him smile :)

As for the other kiddos Kyle and Ashley Dave's oldest just kinda ignore him their mother has 4 other kids so their all babied out, but Ally just adores him she always wants to carry his car seat (which is heavy) she likes to hold him I just love it.

Brady is very taken with Daisy every time he sees her he smiles and he loves to watch her it's so cute.

Phyrie Thank you for the compliments. He makes this brrrr.. sound when he does the bubbles its so funny I just get a kick out of it. He is now a very happy boy, but the first 17 weeks were torture I think it was because he was so sick. Kiba is Daisy's twin! As for myself I may look decent with clothes on, but underneath I'm a mess I just started working out again since Brady's been easier to handle, so I hope to be back in shape by my birthday in August.

Deb it's ok I always check my messages first before I hit the forum. Thank you, Thank you Thank you! Brady has completely changed my life he as made it whole. He brings me such joy and happiness. Its been a long journey the past year. Brady has made it worth every mountain.

Thank you all very much its sure nice to be back. I think of you all very often.

I plan on posting pictures of him as he gets older so you can see him grow
