Nezza the video was great, Cristofer did a great job and yes he should get all the credits. You on the "bouncing horse" was the best.

Do you have the whole time off work while he is there? He is a cute boy.

I enjoyed the pictures, it's a pretty place. I wouldn't try something that hot! Brave, brave man....

Sorry, Kian, i just noticed your post...

No, unfortunately, i don't have the whole time off while Cristofer is here...but my work schedule is pretty light anyway, so i'm still home a lot :D I work 4 days a week and 3 of those days are mornings only...i really have no complaints in that department

P.F./Gatlinburg is very pretty...can't wait to be out there permanently!

Yes, i guess, you could call the OH brave for trying that sauce...especially because he has chronic heartburn  :o I, myself, called him something else for trying it.... :?

Those are wonderful pictures Vanessa! I'm sorry it took me so long to see them. I've been a titch busy!

Your home is very interesting as I don't think I've seen that much of the inside before. I just thought you had an "eclectic" design for the kitchen. :D

Cristofer looks so happy in those photos. You'll have to explain the "Potty Pass" on the pad of paper! Were you trying to hide your eyes in the one photo? I would hate to think that was you being sad. :(

What a cute picture of Waffles as well! Oh, who has the "Hello Kitty" on their laptop? There was a lot to take in with those pictures, and don't kid yourself, I'll be having another look. (It helps me to feel more connected when I can visualize your surroundings. )

This weekend must be awfully quiet at your house. It looks as though a lot of wonderful memories were made in the summer of 2012, and that's the best part. ♥

Deb, i'm so glad you enjoyed the pictures :D I, too, love to observe all the details in other people's pictures to get a glimpse into their life. I love doing that :D

The kitchen has been undergoing some renovations....so, currently it is a mess and not exactly pretty. Eventually, all the cabinets will be white with a new counter top....and some of the cabinets will be moved as well. The tops of the walls will get a crown molding, along with the entire house.

Cristofer was having a great time! He made a "potty pass" for that night...i'm not sure why or what the thought was behind it. He never explained and i didn't ask. :? You really made me chuckle.

No, i was pretending to be sad because he was beating me so bad at cards! And, that is my laptop with the "Hello Kitty" on it! I'm a HUGE Hello Kitty fan! I have so much Hello Kitty stuff that the OH buys me, every chance he gets.

Deb, it has been so very quiet at the house :( We miss him a lot. I really wish he wanted to live here with us. But he has his brother and 2 sisters at home, and i know he missed them, and all his friends, and his mommy...He told us that it's hard to have two families, because he likes to be in both places. We did have such a great summer and plenty of wonderful memories were made. And that IS the important part. And we can't wait til next summer!

I love the pictures, he is a cutie for sure. Licking the bowl is the BEST! Now I'm in the mood for those or the dough...LOL.

I love white cabinets, your kitchen is going to be so nice when it's done. I love going for walks at night and (from the street, I'm no peeping Tom!) look into the windows, it's the home decor I like to see.

Hello Kitty Laptop, that's great.

Kian, when i walk, looking in to see the decor of others' homes is my FAVORITE thing to do!!! :D I love to get a glimpse into how someone else is living.

I, too, love the cookie dough...i think i like it better than the cookie itself. Cristofer really is a cute little boy, with a sweet personality to match.

The kitchen will be great when it's done....and a huge selling point for women. Which will be great for when we go to sell the house.

Vanessa, I know it's hard for children having "two homes". When I was first separated, Ben was put in a Group at school called "Mum's House/Dad's House". It ended up being helpful to a certain extent, but ultimately was not the place for Ben. In a perfect world, a child would never have to choose. :|

Kian, you are funny about being a Peeping Tom! Since I still have no window "treatments" (who ever came up with that term for Blinds or Drapes?) everyone can look in walking past. Fortunately, they can only see into my Living/Dining Room area, which is where I have my desktop at the moment. All that is about to change though.

I'm sure Cristofer had a marvellous time. You are funny about not asking about the "Potty Pass". I would have asked, but then I'm like that. My boys tell me everything, almost too much sometimes, but it's good to have a free and open exchange. As you also said, I know that many memories are created and these trips are very special for Cristofer. It gives him something to look forward to all year long, and perhaps it's more about the quality than the quantity of time spent together. :D

I was also pleased to know that you were "faking" being miserable. My goodness, you do that well! I was alarmed. Now we know one of your secret pleasures...."Hello Kitty"!!! :P

Deb, my only guess about the potty pass...was that he thought we were having something of a "slumber party" and needed an excuse to leave the "party" which required a pass....that's my best guess. It was cute and amusing...and i just left it at that.

Oh, yes, i was faking being miserable. He was beating me so bad at the game, and he wanted to take a picture of me being defeated...so....my best acting skills....there you go.

I did take "Drama" in high school and was very, very good at it.

LOL, Deb...You crack me up! You had me going back and "checking" things out.
I'm really a VERY unobservant person, I'll look at something, but not really study it.
Lalalalalala...that's my oblivious blonde song...heehee!! It plays in my head most of the day.

Vanessa, I believe Alina is a huge Hello Kitty fan too.
Cristofer is such a cute little boy. The picture of Waffles is adorable, for some reason I imagined him bigger than he really is.
I would love to see pictures of your remodeled kitchen. We did ours twelve years ago, it's seemed like it took FOREVER. And washing dishes in the laundry tub got old real fast. :P
