You're right, I really can't get anything done...between the dogs and goats, all demanding attention...LOL!!
I've been sitting in the goat pen for an hour at a time, a few times a day. The whole while, all three dogs are lying outside whimpering and whining away. When I leave the pen to spend time with the dogs, Merlin is calling to me like crazy...I do love that goat!!

I did scratch the top of Arthur's head last night. He was standing next to Merlin, and he probably thought it was Merlin rubbing on him, he was really enjoying it, until he realized it was me touching him.

RJM, your photos are so great, they have action in them. You can feel and see the play! So adorable and they certainly look incredibly HEALTHY, love the tummies!!! I also love their playloft and that they choose to play there. You must be having so much fun with these little guys! Enjoy!

Love seeing the newest pictures, they are just adorable and yes I can see the P&V in both of them. Have you tried to brush them, mine love it. They love it so much it made it easier to trim thier hooves. I used a curry comb and the dog rake, both of them work well.

Aren't they addicting!! Merlin and Arthur are sooooo cute. Arthur should come around soon!

Kian, Merlin LOVES being brushed, he'll stand there for as long as I want to brush him.
I haven't attempted hoof trimming yet, and Merlin needs his done soon.

Tracy, Arthur is still skittish, but he's coming around s-l-o-w-l-y...he does like to rub his head against me while I'm sitting there, and he pulls at my clothes too, as long as I don't make a movement towards him, then he's fine.
I just really want to pet him *sigh* But I must be patient.

It must be hard being so patient RJM! I'm not good at "self control" unless I absolutely, positively, must. Arthur will probably start to notice how much more "loving" Merlin receives and he'll want the same.

I think it's cute that he tugs at your clothes and rubs up against you. He's like Oliver with "new people"...."look at me, look at me, look at me....don't touch!"

I'm glad to hear that Arthur is "warming up" to you. I think it's hysterical that he can rub up against you, but won't let you pet him! Silly goat.....

It's like something clicked all of a sudden for Arthur...one day he wouldn't let me near him, the next day he's climbing all over me! It was such an exciting breakthrough...he's even letting me brush him, he absolutely LOVES that.
I know alot of it had to do with the goat treats, but I'm not ashamed to use a little bribe now and then...LOL!!
