What type of puppy is this?

Postby 570Beardsman on Sat Oct 20, 2012 12:34 pm

I got him from a friend a few months back who couldnt keep him when she moved. She told me he is a spaniel/retriever mix, but I can't see any spaniel in him. He is about 6 months old right now, and I can't figure out what type of breed(s) he is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

He is a cutie, whatever his mix! In the first few photos, I thought perhaps he could be a "Puggle" which is a Pug/Beagle mix, but as he has grown, I am not thinking that so much anymore.

He is so unique that there could well be more than 2 breeds in his mix. Whatever it is, it is 100% adorable! :D

If you are so inclined, there are DNA tests available. However, they are only as good as their Data Base, which means the cheap ones aren't worth much in terms of their results. A few of our members have tried them, and have been surprised and pleased with the results. I don't think anyone took the results as being 100% accurate, although doing the test was entertaining.

You have a very lovely dog.

Oooohhhhhhh! He is absolutely, postively, smoochable!! Not a clue as to his breeds, other than just "too darn cute"!

Sorry, I am just COMPELLED to give a similar answer: your new forever baby is called the "So adorable, it's unbelievable" type pup. That black snout makes me think a drop of German Shep? But congrats on your ADORABLE new addition: boy did you luck out! So did he :!:

In my "professional" opinion, this puppy is a Cuteadorablelove puppy breed! Rare, yet seen everyday, needing homes and lots of love! I also think it is a Kisspuppy!
