Persie is awfully cute! There is always a Ginger Tabby at the start of my favourite Sunday TV show (Coronation Street...*groan*, I know!)

How cute that he found his way to your house. He knows a good thing when he finds it. :D

You'll have to take loads of pictures while touring in "Sabrina", of the Fall Colours, if and when you do. 8)

Thanks, Deb! He's such a sweetheart, too. So loving. And, i have always found cats to be super relaxing....when you're petting them and they are purring away...it's stress relieving.

We are going to Pigeon Forge this coming Sunday. Leaves are about at that their peak, so we should be in store for a good show!! :D We will take lots of pics!

So, i was at work all day today, and i came home and OH showed me a few pics of his day.... :D

The ladies came inside to explore...

and walked out onto the front porch...
Image

Even Persie decided to come on in...
Image

none of Waffles as he was at his dog house on his run...because he just wants to eat the chickens and Persie....

When i leave for work, Waffles goes crazy running window to window looking for me. He watches me leave down the driveway...but then five minutes later....

I love the pictures! I hope the girls didn't make a mess in the house. That would be my concern probably.

Waffles looks so snuggly and cuddly in that picture. It makes me sleepy just looking at him. :) He wants to make good and sure you've actually left so he can resume his nap. :P  8)

Enjoy your trip to PF. I know you enjoy it there. Isn't Kian headed your way soon?

The Fall Colours are glorious here right now. I do love the really vibrant burnt orange. I should grab my camera and head out my back door and take pictures of the woods! Actually, they are more awe inspiring from a distance, when all the colours can be seen. Today was a fluke, as we've had rather cold temperatures. We were up over 70F today, with high winds. It felt like a muggy Spring day but that is expected to change over night, along with more rain. :|

Hi Deb! Glad you enjoyed the pics :D

I don't particularly care for the girls to come in the house because they do make the occasional "mess" :? But, they are just so cute with their curiosity... Fortunately, we don't have carpeted floors and i don't let them stay in too long.

You're right about Waffles. He wants to make sure i'm good and gone so he can resume his nap  Our dogs really are just small people with fur.

We just got back from Pigeon Forge late this afternoon. We had a great time and we took a scenic long way through the mountains home to see some Fall color. It was wonderful. Don't you just love the colors of Fall?!? I took PLENTY of pics and i will get them up soon. As you can imagine, Waffles, Persie, and the "ladies" were very happy to see us when we got home. We're so lucky that we have such a good friend who doesn't mind looking after everyone when we go on our trips. Good friends/neighbors are hard to find. We're going to miss him and his wife when we move. They are such good people. We're always helping each other out and having great dinners together....

"Sabrina" did great on her first long trip! It was so wonderful to go out there in a convertible! What an experience

Now I DO want to go there in the Fall, gourgeous!! Deb we were planning on heading there, the airfare is just too high and there are no specials I have found. We WILL get there someday!

LOL Nezza, did you notice the old guy staring at you and your OH from his car! Creepy..... 8)

OH has been to Gatlinburg, he liked it.

Love the girls in the house, that is funny. Did they leave any "presents"? My dogs have been around the chickens alot and have done very well. Of course, I would never trust them alone.

Waffles is sweet ♥

LOL  Kian, i noticed the old guy right away. I love to look in the background of pictures and see what people are doing...it's always funny :D This week is actually "Peak Week" for the leaves...but with the weather being so crazy, windy one day, pouring rain the next, freezing cold, then warm again...we didn't want to chance missing it..so we went a week early. There were still full, beautiful colors everywhere...if you can imagine, they get even more vibrant than that! Last year we went at Peak Week and it was quite a show.

I know airfare is terrible!! It's waaay too expensive. The OH and I were looking at flights to Vegas but they are all ridiculous. So, that plan is put on indefinite hold.

The girls LOVE to come in the house. We can't keep them out! We keep the doors open in Fall and Spring and even some parts of Summer, it makes the house smell so fresh. Unfortunately, they DO occasionally leave "presents". YUCK! But, for the most part, they are pretty good about not doing their business on the floors.

I hope you do finally make it out this way...hopefully close to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg... as, you know who, will be living there

I was about to log off as the spammers took up my alloted morning time... I knew you had posted pics and YES I could live there! It's so pretty with all the Fall colors and the sweet thing...you don't have to rake leaves! It would be a endless chore, natural is better.

How far are you from town?

Love the pics!

Aww, thank you so much, Kian. :D Glad you liked the pics.

We are only 10 minutes from Monteagle which is a tiny mountain town (as we are in the valley) there is a Piggly Wiggly there, Dollar General, Fred's, a hardware store and an auto parts store, a few restaurants, a library, a large flea market that runs on Sat and Sun., 3 banks, a post office, city hall and a couple parks and a ball field for baseball and such, and also where they hold 4th of July fireworks every year, and 4 gas stations. It's quaint and cute...very Thomas Kinkade (my FAVORITE artist). The town always decorate the street lamps for both Fall and Christmas. The "biggest" city close to us is Manchester to the North or Winchester to the West...both are about 30 minutes away. We like Winchester better, just because it's better kept and cleaner.

We, too, would love to stay here...but there is no money here. Unless, you're a farmer, or you were born here and know someone who knows someone...there is no work. The OH has always worked for himself (having owned his own company) and i have always worked for an animal hospital. There are a few animal hospitals in the area....but they are such small practices...the people that work there currently are either family members, or have worked there forever and they never leave.

Oh yes, the leaves...we don't even bother with them...nature does its' thing...how wonderful :D

Some pics of my sister's babies...

This is her youngest little girl, Hannah. Hard to believe, just a year ago she was so tiny and only a couple months old. Now she's one, walking, and learning to talk....and she looks like a mini version of my sister, when she was a baby!!
Image

Here is my Brylee at her School Halloween party. I'm closest to her...she's got so much spunk...just like me  I keep telling my sister that i want to keep her. Anyway, she's the little girl in the blue dress, with the white stockings and white ribbon on the shirt and tu-tu
Image

And, here's little Ayden...He looks just like his older brother when he was that age. It's funny, when she sent me this pic, i actually thought she sent me an old picture of her oldest little boy by accident!
Image

and another of Hannah....trying to eat all by herself. Miss Independent!
