I've just joined this forum, and boy can I say this is one of the most interesting! I love the Pupdates feature, and the ability to have a profile and album for your dogs. I'm liking it so far, now to try out the forum area My name is Megan. I live in Ohio with my two pups, Cloud a 7 month american eskimo and Yuki a 14 week siberian husky. Both are the loves of my life <3 Here are some pics ^-^

Thank you! The only thing I regret is not rescuing, but Cloud and Yuki are my family and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I told Yuki though once shes grown we're going to rescue a husky for her to play with so she doesn't beat up Cloud

Well just wanted to send out a little update. Yuki got her last puppy shots today, so we went to the dog parks to celebrate! The pups adored it. Cloud kept playing with Yuki instead of the other dogs rofl. There was another husky there for Yuki to play with too Tehe pics!

They are lovely!!!

Normally I'm around a lot more to chat, but I've been rather busy lately. I'm glad to see that everything is falling into place, and that you've met some of our other members now.

Hey Megan,the pups are looking great,you might want to take Yuki to a few puppy matches..They are for fun and practice and are not terribly formal..Many clubs sponsor unsanctioned matches and AKC affiliated clubs are required to sponsor two matches each year under AKC rules...There are no championship points awarded but you can come home with some nice ribbons and perhaps a trophy...and of course some ring experience for you and the pup.

The folks who are judgeing are learning too and some will go on to be certified as AKC show or trial judges..Matches are an inexpensive way to gain experience before you begin to spend some. REAL money on show entry's .

BTW that dog park looks like the one in Xenia"..I if not,check out the one on Dayton Xenia pike just up the hill from Kilcare raceway...turn left into parking just before the trafic light. Nice big new park,water fountains,picnic tables,shade and a seperate section for small dogs...Dogs must be off lead after leaveing the paddock and no food or treats permited inside.(this place was planned by experts and they have done everything to avoid conflict )

I'll have to check out both the matches and the dog park! I'm currently going to the dog park at Oak Grove in Centerville, I had been going there with Cloud when I still lived with my dad in Centerville so I've just continued going there even now that I'm in Dayton xD I really like it, and I know a few huskies that go there so its awesome when we have a gang of 10 huskies at the same time >:D

Yuki's 17 weeks now, Cloud's 8 months. Cloud will be fixed on the 30th of this month, so yay no mini husky babies <3 People at the dog park annoy me that I should breed them (and of course give them a free mini husky puppy) when if they want a pup so bad they should just go to a shelter and adopt one, there's plenty that need homes. Anyway ranting isn't my point of this post just wanted to share some new pics of the pups!
