Chien Perdu - Lost Dog...please read

Postby Lydia21 on Tue Dec 18, 2012 7:34 pm

Our very very special dog 'Bo' has gone missing from the Saint James area of France (region 50). She has been gone for 5 nights now :(.

She was let out for a wee during the night and didn't come back in, has possibly chased a cat and then got lost in the dark.

There are lots of fields and woodland around the village and we fear that she is still out there. If someone has taken her in they are yet to report her. She is wearing a collar and is microchipped.

She is a German Shephard, Black and Tan and is a very friendly and loving dog who is very protective of her owners. She will be missing her best friend Annie who is equally missing her and is very very sad.

Please please if any one has taken her in or if anyone sees anyone with a new dog matching this description please let us know. Even if you're not sure.

I'm not sure how to add photos on here so here is a link to the missing dog advert. Please take a look and spread the word.

Thank you very much

Lydia

P.S - also if anyone knows of any other websites where I can post to spread the word please let me know :) thanks

I am so sorry that your dog is missing. I know the heartache of that, and it isn't something I would wish on anyone.

While this site is global, most of our members are located in North America, although we have several in the UK, Australia and the rest of the world, obviously. Perhaps you would do better to focus on Rescue Groups within France, particularly within your Province and surrounding areas.

I am not sure what agencies might be available, such as an SPCA, or an "Animal Control" facility as well as what we call "Humane Societies". I would reach out locally as much as possible.

Good luck to you and I truly hope you find your dog. ♥

While Deb is in Canada and I am in the US we understand your loss...One thing you can do is make a poster with that picture of your dog and contact information, post copy's every where people gather..Begin locally but remember that dogs can also travel some distance ( I know.I have Huskies)...Good luck and let us know how it goes. :|
