I would love to cook for everyone! Tracy, virtually everything you mentioned I also don't like, except I do use celery as a base in some dishes (you won't notice it!) I don't bake...can't be bothered as I don't have much of a sweet tooth.
I love cooking roasts, make a very decent steak and if someone doesn't care for fish or seafood, that too can be arranged.
It's too bad we can't all get together for a pot luck...I want some of Tracy's Cheddar Soup!!! I'm going to try that recipe one day.
Food is a celebration and a time to share and chat and be together. One of the best parts of any day is at the end of the day, coming together as a family or with friends to share a meal. Snoopygirl, I too love Chinese, but I've found there isn't any authentic Chinese in London, Ontario and if there is, I haven't found it. I always prefer authentic dishes. Oh and I love Spanish Paella...that is to die for!
Kian I love your emoticon! Once you move to NM, I'm sure the weather will be much warmer. I'm not as familiar with the southwestern states, but I'm sure you will have an opportunity for some wonderful mexican food (of the authentic kind) once there. I always love trying new foods when I travel that are different from our rather bland choices at home.
So, everyone let me know when you're coming and I'll have dinner ready...I'd love that actually!
