How are you surviving Friday 13th? Is eveyone having a good day? Anyone paraskavedekatriaphobic?
OH isn't/wasn't but he did put a bottle of champagne (he bought it for tomorrow, aaaaahhhh) on th kitchen worktop and it fell off and smashed on the floor whilst noone was in the room. Mysterious. I'm not actually very keen on Champagne but don't tell OH.

No fear of the 13th here! Too bad about the champagne, won't tell OH your secret! It's just another day in paradise here, I always say. Still have 6 hours to go.

Bad day all around, but am not sure that the date has anything to do with it. I am going to bed early as was up till at least 1AM this morning and had a full day today!

Linda, I think it's ok that you didn't notice the actual date today. Your mind is on other things, which kind of makes the point that the day can be whatever we choose to make it, or at least that is my hope.

Unlucky allright! start off first thing this morning, work up late, house freezing, internet out then on my way to work the shut down the road i take so i had to travel around in a circle to get there which made me late to work, then i was crazy busy at work today running around, forgot my lunch, left to get lunch. only have 30 mins (that's taking some getting used to) well that 30 mins consisted of me getting in my car to drive to mcdonalds real fast, only to not make it and have to run around becuase of traffic and still ended up late back from lunch (this is coming from a woman who's biggest fear is being late...) THEN on the way home OH tells me he's taking a day off at the end of the month to go to a Bachlor party in Vegas, and has failed to tell me which put me in a piss poor mood becuase we really don't have the money for him to be going, so we're not on speaking terms, AND tomorrow is valentines days.. cheese and rice... *sigh* only good things that happened today was marco is ok, and we got wood floors to install in our house, but according to OH it will be at least 6 months.. so maybe that's not a good thing.. I*sigh* i think i need to head to bed

Funny CDAartlady! I had a decent day other than having to go to the doctor. Generally speaking, Friday the 13th is just another day for us. Sorry to hear you guys (Marco's mommy and Donna) had rough days yesterday. Hope it was better for you today!

Marco's Mom...it can only get better from here angel! Bad things come in threes, or so they say, so all the nonsense is over with in one day! "Cheese and Rice" amuses me.

CDAartlady, you have the right idea! There is a telephone exchange in our area that starts with 666 and until I was in my 20's and other people commented on it, I didn't give it a thought.

My Friday 13th was ok I suppose, except from my hands which seemed to be attracting injuries
I hurt my hands about 4 times (nothing serious)

On 06/06/06, I fell down a ladder. That was painful!! I know you're thinking - what was I doing climbing a ladder on 666 day or any day, really, when I'm not a builder or a firefighter, but that was before my dad's house had a staircase and it just had a big hole in the floor with a ladder. Yeah, some people with toddlers have baby gates on their stairs - we had a gaping hole. And it was ME that fell down the ladder XD Oh dear, that is amusing now.

NB: We have a (spiral) staircase now.

When I watressed you would get really superstitous people if a bill was 666 they would ask you to add a penny. I use dot tell them my b day to be lol.

666 for your birthday, at least it's easy to remember! That is funny about the patrons at the resturant, if I get that amount, I just pay it. I have no Superstition.

Marco's Mom what a bad day! So glad that is over, except Marco's dad do you really want to be back in the garage! This time you are on your own, no defense here!
