Donna, it's just a thing for me...I also like shoes, but find high heels a little hard to pull off these days.

Linda, I too love shoes, and Clarks are a wonderful make. I have found that if I buy shoes and purses that cost a little more, they last forever so I buy fewer of them. I generally don't buy much for myself anymore, not since I became a mother, so once every 3 years or so, I splurge. I'm an accessories type girl.

Olivers mummy, oh don't get me wrong! I totally reuse mine all the time. I have a coach as well but they are so expensive and i think they aren't made as well as the dooneys. I'm so excited to see the bags.. I think this weekend i'll head to the mall to check out the latest bags, although i dont have to becuase i'm on their mailing list.. lol

I love accessories. I don't very often buy branded anything. I like unusual, tucked away boutiques with hidden treasures. A lot of my bags are fabric ones, a bit hippyish. I love shoes. I have New Rock boots and even a pair of Clarks. Are we going to start an accessories topic and not hijack Deb's holiday thread?

Great pics. They are beautiful!!! I haven't been on here lately so it has taken me a while to see them. I love them. I love the ocean. All though I don't get in it I love to see it. I have a death fear of water and don't get into any kind of water unless it is my bath or a hot tub. Flordia in the USA is that where you are in these pics? If so I have been to Flordia a few times in my life and love it. My best friend in high school and I went there for our graduation trip. We went to Disney World and then my husband and I went on a cruise so we drove to Flordia to get on the ship and we stayed over night the night before we got on the boat. It is beautiful there.

Hey Muchkin...so good to see you! Yes I was in Florida, about 2 hours south of Disney...Palm Beach (Singer Island). We had a wonderful time. I do go in the ocean, but am mindful of days when shark alerts are posted. As you can see from the pics, the beach where we are is very private and quiet, which I like. I don't do "bathing suit" in highly public areas. Christina, I know your exam is fast approaching, and I know you are going to ace it!!!

I'm sorry about the handbags! I was going to take pictures this weekend, but ran out of time. Since a true interest has been expressed and a thread especially created, I will definitely post some pics. One of the bags has been put away, all wrapped up in its special cloth outer bag, but I have been looking around the house to find a good background for said photo shoot!

Hi Everyone,

Deb, I thought I missed the "Purses", but now I know I have not. I just love the picture of Oliver on the beautiful Velvet Chair. Just tell Mum that is what Velvet was made for, sweet little "Angels" like Oliver. He is so precious in those photos and looks so happy.

I love Brand names, I must confess, but have been not too much into them recently. I love Clarks shoes,( have tons), Birkenstock's, (have tons of them) and Deborah, I have a pair of Clarks Sneakers, or Tennis Shoes. They are plain white and the most comfortable I've had, and I am a runner. I haven't played Tennis since I was married. My parents had a Tennis Court, but I wasn't the greatest at it. I loved to play, however. Nothing ever suited my Dad. Back to the purses, I have several Dooney and Bourke, but I like the not so expensive ones. They are just to carry our essentials in and so that is what I get. I have another confession. I love REAL LEATHER. THE SMELL IS DIVINE.

Can't wait to see the Purses. How about the Shoes too???

Also, Philip, it was I who wrote about the "Challenger Shuttle" which blew up at liftoff. We lived on Merritt Island, FL at that time and we saw it from our patio and it was horrendous.

I loved all your photos, Deb. Lots of memories of Florida. And, Tracy, a hippie, who knew??? -lol)

Nickora, an office overlooking the Atlantic coast would be lovely. Those pictures were not taken from an office, but from a family residence. :|
