sampson's mom wrote: Poor Meeko!!! Sampson got a fish hook in his mouth about a month ago when we were at the beach. Although it was painful for him, in the end I really think I was more traumatized by it than he was. My husband is a nurse, so he kind of knew what to look for. I know dogs are different than humans, but some basic signs of infection are similar The mouth heals much more quickly than some other areas of the body. Let us know how Meeko is doing as soon as you find out.

I'm sure she was wining because I left her. "how could you leave me mom? How could you?!!" Poor thing. She definitely has "come" down.
Are your "Velcro" dogs as easy to get to come?

I've been wanting one for years now, and doing alot fo reasearch on them, and hope to rescue one one day. There is a rescue only about 2/3 hours away from me.
I've talked to Marie (Diamond Aire Kennel) and had planned to go to her kennel to photograph her dogs and other animals, but sadly timing didn't work out well, as my grandma had been in the hospital for the summer and we were unable to leave town.
alexalou wrote:Awww, once again, really cute photos of Meeko! I am so excited, I'm getting a DSLR camera at the end of this month. Not sure which though..... Either the Nikon D300 or the Canon 50D. Either way I should be able to take some super cute photos of Topaz. Fun, fun, fun!!
And Malorey, Blinkme is correct, if you love aussies this is the place to be! They're great dogs. I saw one at the vet today and had to stop and ask his owner about him. He was a double Merle. Very unique.

I have Allie doing the stay and wait and will do it as long as my hand is up in the air palm forward, when I bring my arm straight down that is the release command.
