SO......tomorrow I am going to visit a litter (all male) of Cavaliers. They are nine weeks old and I found this breeder through Oliver's breeder. I have not heard back from the "vet" breeder and once I am on a mission, I am relentless. It seems as if the tri's are harder to come by, and female tri's even harder than males. This litter was born on my Mum's birthday and they are gorgeous.

I know I said I wanted a female, but I want a tri more than I want a female. Oliver's breeder will be breeding her tri next January, but there is still no guarantee a female will be produced. If I don't find a puppy before then, I've been promised a female tri from her. I don't think I can wait that long

This is a litter of 5 puppies, all male...1 Blenheim, 4 Tri. The breeder has two of Oliver's breeder's dogs, one of which already has its Championship and of course, she too is well aware of ALL of the health risks. They are located about an hour from me, in the same city as the OH's parents.

Elliot is coming with me tomorrow and I am taking my camera. We'll see what happens :o  :D 8)

Have you got him yet? I've been thinking about this all day. Don't keep me in suspense.

This little fellow is Henry. He is nine weeks old, born on April 23, 2009. He is also known, at the moment as Mr. Green String. Once he has the "all clear" from the veterinarian, he is coming home, on June 23rd or 24th.

Oh, Mr. Green String is wonderful  !!! I'm waiting to bring home a Mr. Yellow String, myself :)

Are you going to name him Henry, or is that the name the breeder gave him?

Congratulations!!! New puppies are so exciting - enjoy & good luck! 8) :)

Oh so cute!!! That's great Oliver will have a little brother.... I still think a sister would have been cuter, but he is adorable!

You must give us more details... How did you pick him? Where is he in the "pecking order" of the litter? He is just absolutely adorable and I am so glad you found him! I've been lurking for a while to see what would happen... :D

Oh Deborah,

Your little baby, Henry, is absolutely beautiful. He is so precious I can't stand it. Don't you just want to smother him with kisses. It just isn't fair. Now you will have two little Cavalier's catering to you, one on each ear!
Oh, I get all goose bumpy just thinking about a new puppy in the home. What did Elliott think? 8)

Good luck with the new baby.

Love, Elizabeth~(and Master Cooper)

Thank you so much everyone! Alexalou...a little girl was not to be found and perhaps what I wanted is not what I need!

Elliot came up with the name Henry. He said it sounded British and noble and I have to agree, as did my OH and Ben. Tomorrow I will start a thread called something like "Cavalier Puppies including Henry" as I have tons of lovely pictures of these wonderful darlings. The scenery in the photos isn't the best but that's irrelevant.

Marco's Mom, Kian, Elizabeth and Alexa...thank you for your kind words. I am bursting tonight with excitement. He is such a darling boy and once Oliver realizes that he can finally be the boss of someone, I know he'll enjoy having a brother

Oh, Deborah... I'm speechless. I just now got back from Vancouver and signed into the DP to see how you made out... I had a feeling you were going to take the plunge very quickly.

Henry is adorable. I'm so jealous, it's embarrassing. What a wonderful looking pup! I think the Tris are just beautiful. I have to wonder why the Blenheim are the most popular colour, when the Tris are so gorgeous! (I won't say that in front of Kiba or Oliver, of course!) Henry really looks like a boy, too. Kiba is often mistaken for a girl dog, as he's so pretty, but you can see Henry's masculinity already. He's a beaut, alright! Congratulations, and I expect tons of baby pics, natch...

Phyrie, I knew you were away and couldn't wait to share this with you! We went "off the charts" with the name and I am SO excited I can't sleep. Thank you for being so supportive.

I'm so excited. I can't wait for the Henry adventures to begin. When we went to look at cavalier puppies I wanted my mum to get the tri girl but she was set on the blenheim. Libby is a cutie though. I love the black and tans too.
Henry is absolutely stunning and has the perfect name. More photos please.

Funny how our tastes differ... Me, I am totally unmoved by a black and tan or a ruby. Wouldn't want one. Weird, huh? Good thing for all of us that dogs come in all sizes, shapes and colours!

Oh Deborah,

I am so excited for you! :)
Henry is adorable, how can anyone resist that little face?
I'm sure as soon as you saw him, you knew he was yours.
