Wow denvir thats alot of animals!
I have had two hamsters
Joe- lived for two to three years r.i.p Joe's real name was Joe mama but it was a little strange so i just called him joe. He was a Dwarf hamster and was brown, white, and black in coloring. He stayed to be pretty small. Was my second hamster. First was potatoe. Joe liked to be able to run around in his ball for a while.
potatoe- lived for three or four years r.i.p Potatoe was my first hamster. He was a dwarf also and was an albino. He liked to be picked up by me and not a lot of other people. He bit two people but that was only because he was trying to sleep when they scooped him up. I always make sure that he woke up before i picked him up because he would get scared and bite. He got really fat even though he had a wheel and everything and died because his eye got infected. :[[
Zero- my Brothers mentally chanlenged hamster, seriously. We had it for about four days and it would never stop running back and forth and it hit its head and died. :[
Eerie- Eerie was also my brothers and was really nice and lived as long as four years i think. It was also the one that ran off the end of my bed and fell to the gorund, un hurt it got up and started runnng away. Luckily my brother was quicker than her and caught her.
I havent been able to own any snakes or lizards. I have wanted a snake before, and a leopard spotted lizard but my moms rather squeamish i guess you could say and wouldnt let me. I asked my parents if i could get a bunny but they thought that wouldnt be such a good idea with four dogs running around. wow i think this is the longest post ive ever written. I feel accompished! hah well yeah those are my rodents! :D

Buddyandme - I noticed a Crittertail in your pictures, and then in you album, and I have to say I really hope you don't house Hamsters in those. They are much too small for a Syrian and they would be much happier in a larger cage. Bin cages are great for them!

Sorry if I've sounded nit picky, but Hamsters are a passion of mine.

:) Me too! lol I breed them sometimes, as long as I find enough of my friends and family members to take the babies, and one litter per hamster that's all, don't worry.

I had used it a longer time ago when my hamster was a baby, now I have all habitrail or one common hamster cage, I always forget the name of that cage...

Habitrails also aren't a good choice. All cages 'made' for hamsters/gerbils in stores are basically junk. Too small.

Which is why I suggested bin cages. You can get them for half the price of those, and they are much bigger and nicer, and a great cage for your Hammies!

I saw some of your baby pictures! They are adorable! I've never bred my own Hamsters, but my Campbells Dwarf Hamster, Brokencyde, that I have (Well, sadly, she somehow got out of her cage, and I have had no clues as to her being), had 2 babies when I got her. Sadly, they didn't live long. They both seemed to be quite sickly. =/

Aw :( Poor babies. My hamster Angel had 14 babies, she was eating them because some of them were sick. It was really sad :'(.

I don't really understand what you meant in bin cages? :?

Ah, yes. Hamster breeding can be an exciting and beautiful thing, but then at the same time it has it's hard parts.

Here is an example - This is from a fellow hamster forum member as I don't have pictures of my own at the moment.

:) That is a cute cage lol. I love panda hamsters :P

Should I put a lid tough because my hamster's climb to the top of their wheels...

Lids are a good idea! I never really worried about lids for my Syrians though as mine have never been climber. Alot of bins come with lids, then you just need to make sure you give them enough ventalation. Alot of people cut a sqaure in the top of the lid, and do something like this:

^ The only thing about this bin is the wheel. If it's for a Hamster is should be duct taped.

But that one seems more complicated.

It is easier to just buy some mesh, and then find a way to keep in on the lid. If you have duct tape you could just tape the mesh to the lid. Much simplier. Hehe.

Buddyandme you would have been the type of friend I would love to have had when I was a teen. I collected a few critters myself, much to the dismay of my mother. I brought home a rat I loved who I named Caster. I had an assortment of lizards, snakes and loved to catch frogs, toads and anything I could get.
