My mom fell in love with one of the pink ones on the picture, the little fuzzy one with the spots, I think he's going to be "the one" :D Im really excited but a little scared how my cat Bella is going to react :P My dogs are just fine with pigs, my cats the mental case

Those piglets are just too cute! I always said newborn rabbits look just like little pink pigs - I was right! Imagine a little pink pig smaller than my thumb - they are so cute. The doe would attack anybody who got too close in the pen, with the exception of me and Bandit (my Sib)! She even allowed Bandit to baby-sit!

Let us know how things go with your QT! I'll bet you'll have a lot of fun!

Although I am happy for you, and I think the piggie pics are adorable, I have to wonder at your uncle's animal husbandry skills if he didn't know one of his pets was pregnant until she gave birth!! That just smacks of, if not honest-to-gawd neglect, at least ignorance.

How can you not know you have a male pig, and that your female pig is pregnant and in labour?? Pig's testicles stick out their between their legs on their backsides same as any animal, if not more so. If these are the miniature pigs, was he not caring for them personally? Were they just stuck in a pen with the regular sized pigs? How could he not know these things about his pets?

Sorry, that smacks of neglect to me...

I was just thinking of that yesterday, I told my mom and she called her brother, he said that he never bothered to check because they were just going to be used as food, he thought the female was getting fattened up because the male was too, I'm not sure about anything else but I think I should ask him some questions because now I'm worried about how he treats them, i've never seen his miniature pigs before, and i've went several times, so it's really getting me thinking where they must live.:(
