IF OUR DOGS COULD MAKE NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

I thought it might be fun to make a thread on what we think our pets New Years resolutions might be. I will begin with:

Prince: Not to sweeten the air by breaking wind when guests have outworn their welcome and especially at meals
Not to lick my private parts when mom has guests come over, especially the pastor
Be more tolerant of my little brother
Not to steal mom's bra and other assorted pieces of clothing when she is getting dressed
Not to get in the bathroom wastebasket after that tempting piece of tissue paper
Not to steal the washcloth when I am getting my face and ears cleaned and run with it
Be more tolerant of my little brother
Not to lust after people food, even tho it looks and smells better than mine

Coby: Not to attack my big brother when he is taking care of business
Not to steal and hide all the kongs, chewies, treats, and toys
Not to attack my big brother while he is eating, drinking or sleeping
Not to bark endlessly at the puppy in the mirror
To come when mom calls, the 1st time
To remember my good manners
Not to ride my teddy bear and tip over my crate

Mom: To have more patience with both of my boys
To have more patience.

Great idea, Princelover. This needs some thinking about but for now:

Loki: to always do as I'm told immediately.
Idun: to always do as I'm told immediately. I wish

Ruby:
I will try very hard not to eat the delicious frozen poopsicles lying in the yard.
I will not leave large puddles of drool on the floor everytime my people are eating dinner.
I will not jump up on my Mom and Dad when they are least expecting it.

Kessler:
I will go outside to potty all by myself, without Mom having to bundle up and go with me every single time.
I will not destroy my cute, fluffy toys within seconds of receiving them.
I will try not to bother Mort as much, even though he looks like one of my cute, fluffy toys.

Mort:
I don't need to make any resolutions...I'm perfect! (no matter what Dad says)

Allie:
Not to gruff to go out every few minutes just to come back in and gruff some more to out.
Not to yap at the cats in the field
Not to get up on the living room chair when my owners drive away, I know they can see me.
Not to carry my Kong and gruff every time it is empty, I must have more patience!
More patience.

Miley:
I will not steal the toilet paper to decorate the back yard.
I will not pull Rocco's tail ( as much lol)
I will stop playing when Rocco says enough or when mom says ENOUGH ALREADY
I will only eat my food and leave Rocco's leftovers for him
I will stop destroying my mom's stuff.
I will stop destroying my own toys.
I will stop digging and pulling out the plants
I will stop howling the first time my mom tells me to quite down.


Rocco:
I don't need to make any resolutions, I think I'm perfect,
But if I must here are a few
I will play more with Miley
I will not ask for as many jerky treats, I WILL still ask
I will not bark every time the mailman comes
I will bark less at passing dogs.
I will stop killing possums, (Maybe)

Abbey:
I will stop biting/snatching treats from my Mom's fingers!

Charlie:
I could try to tolerate the camera.
I will walk nicer on my leash.
I will try not to pee on my brother while on walks.

Izzy:
I'm getting really good, but I'll keep improving on my potty skills.
I'll leave the poop outside.
I'll learn to LOVE my kennel like Abbey & Charlie.
I'll stop barking whenever I see anything move outside.
I'll let my Mom give me a pedicure even though I think that is for girls.
I'll learn "stay" and "come".
Oh, and I'll stop stealing things.
and I will learn to not bug the bunny!

Max: Be nicer to the neighbors dog, don't be so grumpy when I'm tired, and get back to my exercise workout

Olive: Loose weight, don't be so obnoxious, and learn to walk better on a leash

I will do my absolute best to resist the urge to steal mom's socks.
I will not bark every time I don't get my way.
I will not be so jealous.


Upendi:
I will not pull on the leash. Okay so maybe I wish this one were true

To make it to my first birthday
Get out of my habit of eating my chocolate pebbles
To not drink my water so fast that I choke

[Oliver & Henry's Mum]

Oliver:

I will try not to cause a commotion on purpose when Henry has FINALLY settled.
I will try to share Mum's pillow with her more.
I will make every one in my family smile at least once a day.

Henry:

I will try not to bother Oliver quite so much.
I will try not to become so upset if one of my brother's leaves the house after dark.
I will make every one in my family smile at least once a day.



Great thread idea, and I'm enjoying reading all of the posts.

Loki:

I will resist hanging my paws on the shoulders of strangers and kissing them.
I will not howl at music I don't like.
I WILL get off the sofa (graciously) when dad wants to sit next to mum.

Idun:

I will stop using the kitten's tail as a handle.
I will stop modifying shoes.
I will improve my bladder control and not turn the kitchen into Lake Windermere when nobody's home.

Libby:

I will not piddle all over mum's son-in-law when he lifts me up.
I will try not to steal the deerie's food.
I will stop humping Idun's head when she lies down.
