Ah yes...the playing at 2am when they are that age is cute the first time but loses the cuteness right quick!!!

When my other cat, Bear, wants attention you would think someone was trying to kill him. He is so loud. He will come in and sit right by your head and scream and once you start to move, he gets all purry and lovey until he realises you are only trying to drown out his screaming and then starts again. Gotta love 'em though

Pete is hilarious! I think your decorations are lovely. You know I enjoyed hearing SS as well.

Pete has discovered that if he stands on the printer buttons he can make it make noises, then the paper moves for him to pounce on. He's a bad kitty.

Funny how you never see any cat training books.

When you bring a dog into your home and give it food and love it thinks YOU'RE a god. When you bring a cat into your home and give it food and love it thinks IT'S a god

Deb I was trying desperately hard not to talk on the video because with this new camera it seems to come out really loudly but all I succeeded in doing was sounding like a disinterested mother who doesn't want to interact with her son. Oh well.

LOL! I knew you were trying "not to talk", and no you did not sound like a disinterested Mother at all. I loved hearing SS. Apparently he really liked the bed he slept in last night and just wanted confirmation. I can tell when you are trying not to talk because I can then hear you breathing...and I love it all!!

Pete is going to be an adventurous sort I think, considering his start in life. Yes...I have noticed that there are not many training books for cats, but then I'm never really looking for those. 8) I'll start now!

We nearly lost our gorgeous willow on the weekend :(

She had crawled underneath some spare sheets on the floor and my OH accidently stepped on her. We had to rush her to the vet (at 5am), one of her ears has blood coming out of it and she was quite lethargic, was pretty scary!
12 hours and $850 later we got her back :) she has nerve damage in her neck which has caused her to have one lazy eye which may or may not heal properly and her eardrum burst. Poor thing must have been in so much pain.
We know we have a little fighter though :)

Here is willow when we brought her home on Saturday night :)

Oh bless her, poor Willow. Give your baby extra cuddles from Aunty Tracy.

She's making a pretty speedy recovery. she's back to running around with Macy and echo. We're still keeping a close eye on her though :)

Oh my...sweet Willow! I can only imagine what you and your OH went through as well as Willow. I hope she makes a full recovery.

Pete is so adorable! His eyes are so different than other cats I've seen (that's not a bad thing - it's really cool!)

K his pupils only look green because of the camera in a similar way to getting "red eye" in shots of people. I do think he has very attractive eyes though because they are such a stark contrast against the black.

Oh, I was just thinking that because in my pictures of Mandie (my ol baby) her pupils turned yellow instead of green. So it was almost opposite of Petey's. I guess it just depends on the cat's original eye color...

Either way Pete (and his eyes lol) is adorable!
