What's in a name?

Postby Deerie me on Thu Jul 03, 2008 10:15 am

How did you come by your user name? Some are really obvious, like mine (little imagination needed) but others leave me thinking, what does that mean? Where does that come from?
I'm sure some are really clever but you'll have to spell it out to me.

Nothing clever about mine. I'm an insomniac and am always crawling the Web in the middle of the night, so......

Took someone else pointing it out on another forum that I picked a name that is also an X-Men comic book character!

Kayt is just a cooler looking way of spelling Kait, which is short for Kaitlyn.
Nothing special

Tuna's Mom. The cleverness isn't in the username, it's in the dog's name... and that was my dad's idea!

ErcyPay is pig-latin for Percy. Percy is NOT my real name (I'm a girl) but I like the name and use it as my fake name for almost every website I go to!

My old nickname/user name for online games, etc. when I was younger
was always EmY, because my name is Emily, so its just a cute way of
shortening it up rather than Emmie... and then EmYkins just worked,
cause it's also just a nickname that works for Emily.
