I'm normally known as something completely different on other websites but I wanted to have a doggy-name and I thought about how I'm more a Crazy Dog Lady than a cat lady, but then I thought about my houndy babies and how much I love them, hence CrazyHoundLady.

As we speak the youngest houndy baby is currently cuddling his Mr. Crocodile in his sleep, it is possibly one of the cutest things I've ever seen!

Well, I joined right after I adopted Ruby...hence the name RubyJeansMom.
I thought this site was only for puppies, and she was my only puppy at the time.
Otherwise, I would have probably gone with something else...but I like RJM

I've been Phyrie on the Internet since the early '90's. Way back then, I used to chat a LOT in chat rooms, even owned my own room for a while. My personality has always been a little "fiery", and I was going through a red hair period, so Phyrie was easy. But she needed a last name, as a lot of websites require you to sign up with a "real" name, first and last. I was re-reading The Lord of the Rings at the time, and was in the passage where Frodo, Sam and Gollum were in the marshes of Mordor. You know the one, where the werelights hypnotize Frodo and he almost drowns in the marsh. So it wasn't much of a stretch to go from marsh lights, fiery light, fiery marsh, Phyrie Marsh. So, that's me: Phyrie Marsh.

I looked at that thread, Kris. It hasn't been bumped since August 23, 09. So if Tracy is right about the six month thing, it will be gone tomorrow. I sure wish we had known that about Charlie's Still Biting thread.

Well I'm LittleK, and the name started when I joined my high school track team in 8th grade, so I was considered "little." There was an older Kaytlen (who I became track sisters with) so I was "LittleK" and she was "BigK". This name will stay until I get a dog

Well, Nileska is my kennel name. I have used it for all of my AKC registrations [Nileskas Atu Atuk CD}, {CH Nileskas Fast Freddy],etc. It is the names of my first 2 Siberians, Nickolai and Alyeska combined.

Nick was neutered and only shown in obedience,finishing CD degrees in the US and Canada.Alyeska finished CD,CDX & UD degrees in both countrys. The first when she was just 6 months old. She was also the mother of one litter which included Atuk and had a brief show career.

My kennel building has a hand painted plack affixed, which has the portrait of a red Siberian like Nick, and the logo "Nileska Siberians" in old English letters. and Est. 1980. When I joined the DP it just seemed a logical choice for an id name and if any of my old freinds and associates are members they would recognise it. So far none have turned up.

Mine's Snoopygirl because well, I'm a girl and I love the little character Snoopy (I own several pairs of Snoopy pyjamas!) plus I don't have my own dog, and .. well.. I love 'Snoops' anyway!
