Connecticut Rescue organization reputation

Hi, I have never posted on a forum before, so please be patient with me. I guess I would go by the name "Dukesmom". Duke was our 15 years and 10 mos old Golden Retriever who we lost on June 4th. We are now looking to adopt a new dog. We have been working with Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, an awesome group and where we got our beloved Duke. However, there have not seemed to be any good matches yet . So I am thinking about looking at other places. A group in North Granby, CT has a dog we might be interested in. Does anyone out there have any knowledge, good or bad about a group called Paws4Rescue? Any info would be greatly appreaciated. And by the way, I love, love, love The Daily Puppy and I look at the site every day. My husband calls it my "puppy porn", which I thought was pretty funny. Thanks for any help. Hi Dukes mom. I'm sorry I'm no help to you as I'm in the UK but hopefully someone will be able to.
Why don't you go out to see the rescue? See what kind of first impression you get. A kind of instinctive response.

Hi Loki's mommy, good suggestion, unfortunately they are an all volunteer organization without an actual facility. They foster all their rescues in private homes. But hopefully someone from connecticut will read my post. Thanks for the reply! : Have a great day.

we rescued our dog, sampson, from pawsafe in danbury ct. they are a great place. they are on petfinder.com and they have adoption days every 2 weeks at various places. all their dogs are upto date on shots and spayed/neutered. and their adoption fee includes 30 days of health insurance. hope this helps!
