Lynners, I'm glad I'm not the only one. While it is a lovely region, I am quite sure it isn't as exciting or interesting as Key West!

I have to wonder: do you say "Kay Double You" out loud, or do you just use it when you're typing? The reason I ask is "Kay Double You" has twice as many syllables as "Key West"! Hardly shorter at all when spoken ! LOL!

Since the farthest east I've ever been is Calgary, Kitchener-Waterloo has come up in my vocabulary, counting this time, exactly once. But just for the record, depending on whether you pronounce "Kitch-e-ner" or "Kitch-ner" you can save one or two syllables by shortening it to "Kay Double You". Just s'os ya know!!

LOL! Since I choose to speak properly, I say "Kitch-en-er". You actually had me saying Kitchener-Waterloo out loud and counting the syllables last night. Funny!

RJM, you could have Steak and Lobster...nothing like a Surf 'n' Turf! I agree that part of the deliciousness of the food is that it is regional, like Paella! HOLA!

Whenever I read a thread like this and we start talking about different foods, I find that there is nothing in my home that will satisfy me as I want whatever I just read about, like Lobster Benedict! That is just too decadent thereby making it "vacation" food. I'm ready to pack my bags.
