I'm not sure if it's because I'm English but most of my favourite movie quotes come from Monty Python.

From Life of Brian.

Brian's mum:"He's not the Messiah. He's a very naughty boy."

Pontius Pilate: "Stwike him centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly."

favourite movie quotes (i can't pick one!)

shaun of the dead (my fave film) - 'as bertrand russell once said, the only thing that will redeem mankind is cooperation, and i think we can all see the relevance of that now' 'was that on a beermat?' 'yeah, it was guiness extra cold'

zoolander - 'what is this? a centre for ants? how can we be expected to teach kids to read good and stuff if they can't even fit in the building? it has to be at least.........3 times bigger than this!'

zoolander also - 'models always do what they're told.' 'no we don't' 'yes you do, Derek.' 'ok'

That is a brilliant quote but too complex to remember. Brian is writing graffiti on a wall and the Roman Officer finds him, starts to correct his grammar and makes him conjugate verbs. Once he has it right, the officer makes him write it out a hundred times so that his original small piece of graffiti then covers the entire wall. Brilliant!

My Latin professor had us watch that scene in class once! She was a great teacher, with a fantastic sense of humor too!

"You can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" from Dr. Strangelove. Cracks me up every time.

"Now, you'll hurt me if you don't trust me, all right?" from Dirty Dancing, when Johnny is teaching Baby the lifts. It can be a metaphor for love too! lol I always watch this movie if it's on TV. I love it so much!

ah rats! i had a question but i forgot it......

umm....oh yeah! *lightbulb over head*

what song/band/music genre can you absolutely not stand?

at the moment i really don't like the song 'bedrock' by chris brown. it's on the radio now... also, my mum plays the cinderella rockefella song alot and it's really irritating!!!

another one, don't know if it's been done lol: if you're given three wishes, what would they be? mine:
lots of money (i'd spend it on good things, though, like more dogs : D )
the ability to breathe underwater
a million more wishes

;D

Favorite movie quotes, (I've had fun reading all of everyone's!)

I've had a lot from "She's the Man," I know it's sort of old and chick-flick but it's hilarious! It's got Amanda Bynes and dreamy Channing Tatum! I have that movie almost memorized

One of my favorite parts is when a guy doesn't know how to start a conversation so he says, "Sooo... umm, do you like cheese?" and this weird, nerdy girl says "Oh yes, it's my favorite animal by-product!"

Oh and when the "headmaster" of their school gives a speech to the guy (actually a girl disguised as a guy) about wearing wigs. (Meanwhile he's completely bald) and he says, "Recently I've begun to thin abit. But it's okay. You'll just have to accept yourself for who you truly are: a baldy."

It cracks me up!

Oh and of course at Christmas Time I know a lot of quotes from "A Christmas Story." I just have the weird ability to memorize a LOT of movie lines too. My friends really enjoy it when watching movies with me

Well a lot of the songs out nowadays get on my nerves, but right now the most is: Rude Boy by Rihanna! If you feel brave today, you can look it up but it's so annoying!

hmm. favourite movie quotes. tricky one! I don't have a favourite movie so..OH! I know. My favourite movie is Brother Bear.
And I just can't get over it when the moose are playing 'eye spy' and they're like
"I spy something green
"uh...tree."
"awwh"
"okay! My turn. I spy something..tall."
"Tree."
"dang..okay. your turn."
"I spy..a vertical log."
"tree."

it goes on like that forever. haha. I love it.

If i could have three wishes? I would want to have a photographic memory (my grades would improve greatly), drive a ferrari...and..have three more wishes! haha.

And I HATE the song rude boy. it's horrible. and I don't like rap or country.

The job I'm working now is a contract position as the actual person is on mat leave. She told me about it during training! Something about "and when I'm bored I go and look at the puppies on the Daily Puppy...". :)

I found the Daily Puppy when looking for things of interest to put on my iGoogle Homepage.

I looked at the Puppies of the Day and the Grown Up Puppies of the Day, and read everyone's comment for a few months before I ever joined.

Leah, that is a good question and should still stand.

I do have one more that perhaps someone can answer...Has anyone seen Chez lately or talked to her? I've noticed that she is MIA and I'm missing her witty repartee.

i typed 'dog forums' into google and found it somewhere on the list of things that came up!

new question if you want: what superhero would you be if you could? i'd probably be dr.manhatten from watchmen. though i'd live on earth still, not mars. lol. anyone seen watchmen? if you haven'tm dr. manhatten is the blue one who is REALLY powerful. he can mulitply himself, explode things, pick things up but pointing at them, crumple things by pointing at them, and so many other cool things. i'm pretty aure he can fly, too! :D

so who would you be? (out of any movie/comic)

Deb-i noticed the lack of typical Chez witty remarks too!
