RJM,Sadly, there are more Huskies out there that need adopted than there homes available...My OH,who is a doggie person herself, has said that if I bring another dog home the dog and I both will have to find another place to live...I suppose I can see her point since I probably dont have another 13 years or so to invest.
.My pack is diminishing [I have lost 3 this year, all 13-14 years old]...Still,a youngster would be nice
Gina, was a cute little black and white bitch whom i rescued from the shelter on Christmas eve 12 1/2years ago. Her time was up and she was scheduled for euthenasia that night...She was a fine example of the breed and way too cute to leave.Gina became the constant companion of Bradley ,a big grey and white boy who was from my own breeding..We lost Bradley a couple of months ago and Gina was never the same, she joined him last week.
..There are only 3 old ladies left and all are`at least 13. Of course I will be 80 in a few months [how old is that in doggie years?] Its kind of a case of whoever leaves last, turn out the lights

The kennel which once housed at least 11 dogs is beginning to look like ''empty saddles in the old corral''as the song goes..I think i am geting the urge to rescue again

Anyone want to take in a homeless boy and his dog?
Woofs Y'all....Richard
