MISS KATIE BLUE - In Loving Memory

Suddenly, with her loving family by her side, Miss Katie Blue went to the Rainbow Bridge on August 2, 2010 just shortly after noon. She was a wonderful Great Dane who was as elegant as she was beautiful.

Miss Katie was deeply loved by her Mum, Elizabeth and Dad, Bob. They are grieving terribly over the sudden loss of their very special girl.

Katie will also be missed by her wee little brother, Mini Anderson Cooper, the Pug, who is doing his best to keep his Mum occupied, as any good Pug would do.

Elizabeth (Lizanne) is one of our longest standing members on the Daily Puppy who is there to offer comfort and wisdom to any of us who need it, whenever we need it.

To Elizabeth and Bob, we extend our sincere condolences for the loss of your gorgeous "Greater Dane", Miss Katie Blue. You have our love and our sympathy.

I've not posted my condolences yet, as I didn't know if I could. Elizabeth, you and I have had some very interesting conversations, and I think of you as a friend. To say I am sorry for your loss just doesn't come close to how I am feeling about sweet Miss Katie Blue leaving us. I am sorry. I wish I could hug you both, but I can't. I know it can't help, but please know that you are being thought of, and I hope your pain eases enough so that you can remember your wonderful dog and smile, and be glad that she was yours for as long as she could be.
