Rufus

Rufus is the most wonderful addition to our family! He holds a special place in our hearts, especially now that we are going through "empty nest syndrome" after our human children moved out ;). We were so lucky to find Rufus at our local Haven Humane Society. He is a slightly "Hairy-Hairless Chinese Crested" and his previous owners left him there because their "landlord said no". That just was too heart breaking for me to imagine! When he saw me he stood up, twirled in a circle on his tiny hind legs and he was in old lavender pj's with holes all over--he truly looked like a little orphan dancing for his supper with wide eyes hopeful that we'd take him home! He didn't have to ask twice! He is about 3 years old and 3 years old and he has two doggy brothers--a Lhasa Apso, Coby, and a Pomeranian, Bumper.
