Profile: I am the grandmother of seven beautiful grandchildren, grandpupmother of a Keeshound, and a rescued "Rat Pin", as well as mom to Meiko (a tortoiseshell polydactyl cat/dog wannabe). I have loved all dogs all my life, and had at least one most of my life. Cheyenne (February 14, 2000 - February 17, 2011) came to me during a particularly tumultous year to love me and help me heal. (She was a stray from the SPCA.) During that year, I held each of my three older girls in my arms as they made the journey to the warm, springtime fields by the Rainbow Bridge. She couldn't take their places in my heart, each dog has a place of their own. Her place was a huge one. She became my steadfast companion, my support, my heart. We only had 11 years together, but although she's gone to join my other girls at the Rainbow Bridge, she'll always be loved and missed terribly. I have now rescued & given a home to Jinx, and am looking forward to many happy years & times with her!

Cheyenne was a beautiful Rott X German Shepherd, who came to live with me and help me heal during a emotionally overwrought year. That year, one by one, I held each of my three older girls in my arms as they crossed over to the warm, always springtime fields by the Rainbow Bridge. Bandit, my Siberian Husky, Sasha, my SamXLab, and Bear, my gold Lab. She's gone to join them now, after only 11 short years, but will always be loved, never forgotten.View Profile
My heart & home had been so empty since Cheyenne left it, I searched the web for that special someone to fill it! I found Jinx at the humane society shelter, & fell in love ... she claimed me too, and I couldn't leave without her. She is a 2 year-old Finnish Spitz/Schipperke mix and I look forward with excitement to a long, happy journey with her. She has brought joy into my life again & it's so much fun to see how smart and obedient she is. We are still learning likes/dislikes, and so far, the only thing she doesn't like is being away from me.View Profile
