Greta is a shelter dog who came to us two weeks ago! We were so lucky to find her. We were told she was a border collie mix, but we wonder if she isn't a full border collie. Her favorite thing is to bring all the toys she can find to her bed and play with them all at once! She keeps trying to get 2 or 3 toys in her mouth at the same time. Greta has really settled in to her new home in the last 2 weeks. She's a very quick learner, and is mastering sit, stay, come, fetch and walk with me. When we take her out of her kennel, she makes adorable Snoopy-like noises, especially when she yawns. Some of her other sounds remind us of Gremlins, so she is already racking up a list of nicknames!

In Loving MemoryCeleste was the best dog in the world. She was so sweet to everyone she met--- and everyone she met LOVED her. She was with us a far too short 16 years, and those years were full of fun and adventure. She was incredibly smart, and she loved camping, hiking, running, bugs, and most of all, she loved being with her family. We will miss her forever.
