Always wise, Lady was everything we ever needed her to be. Even as a puppy she was always by our side, trailing at our heels even if we were just getting up from the kitchen table to move to the counter and back. Her favorite time of year was our summer trips to Salisbury Beach. We think she looked forward to those trips as much as--if not more then!-- we did, since she'd wait outside or even in the car (which she hated to ride in) waiting for hours while we packed up before heading out. Although she couldn't be more friendly with us, her family, she was suspicious of every stranger that came too close and was dead-set on defending us from any harm. Our protector, our angel, Lady Ma'am was a walk in the park, a trip to the beach, a cuddle on the couch or relaxing on the deck on a warm spring day. At ten years she passed away with her favorite person by her side and after a kiss and a hug from each member of her loving family. We will always love and miss our perfect girl.View Profile
When we first got Cody, we didn't realize he was sick. Luckily we got him the medical attention he needed barely twenty four hours after bringing him home and although he's still fragile, he likes to let us know he's tough too. Cody is the oldest of our three boys and he takes his job as big brother very seriously. He plays referee to all fights (play or not) and he'll make a point of rounding up anyone who doesn't come when called. He is our little protector, even jumped into the pool to save his Boxer brother, Lucky before realizing swimming was a lot harder without someone holding him! He's a fast learner, a great listener and as handsome as a prince. Other then that, he loves to play fetch, make nests out of our clothes and his favorite game is "chase me"View Profile
When we got Lucky, he was skin and bones and you could count his every rib. Despite having just got our other puppy Cody a few weeks earlier, we took the big guy in, fattened him up and had him checked out for a few other health issues he was suffering from and he transformed from a sickly, clumsy goof of a pup into a buff and friendly boy. We never intended on keeping him for good, but in such a short time, the big guy climbed into our hearts and nestled in like the lap dog he believes he is. Luck is a total Goumba, Goomber and Goob and he'll come to any of these silly names we call him. He loves everyone, big or small, human or dog--in fact, he thinks every guest to enter our house is here to visit him! We named him Lucky, but really, it's us who are lucky to have him in our lives.View Profile
Alfie is the baby of our family, and boy is he spoiled! When we got him, he was the ultimate pest and wouldn't listen to a word we said. Of course, he was also a playful, absolute cuddle bug and a joy to have around and soon enough he learned most of his right and wrongs. Alfie loves to know what's going on in every room of the house and he'll wait until the last person goes to sleep before coming up to bed, just to make sure he doesn't miss anything interesting downstairs! He'll do anything for a good belly rub, loves his brothers and tugging over a toy with them and his absolute favorite spot in the house is the windowsill where he can watch the world walk by (when he's not pirched on one of his people's laps that is!)View Profile
We've been wanting a little girl for a long time, and Lexie came along to answer those dreams. Found wandering in the rain, Lexie became someone's loss and our gain when she was never claimed and we welcomed her into our family. A sweet and feisty girl, she loves having three brothers to pick on, especially our boxer, Lucky who loves her to bits, even though she's always nipping at his ears when he's napping. Although she's a bit of a hand and leg chomper, known to put holes in the sleeves of your sweaters during play time, she's also a little doll who sleeps by your feet, tickles your neck with kisses and licks your toes to say hello. Even if she thinks she's a vegetarian and will eat anything she finds in the garden--the more disgusting, the better--she's also our little girl who'll hide behind you from the passing cars, stick her head between your legs to get your attention, give you her paw when you ask and let you hold her just about any way, because she's happy as long as she's with you. Our little May flower brought by the April rain, we have the little girl we've wished for.View Profile
