Profile: I love animals and especially dogs (puppies). When I was born there was a dog in the house and I have never lived one day with out a dog. My first dog was a female cairn terrier named Dusty and was amazing. Before she past away I got another cairn terrier but a boy. His name is Charlie and is 3 years old. Charlie is the best and is so loyal. I also got another dog, a female golden retriever named Maggie. We rescued her as a puppy and before we got her she had been to many places including shelters. She wasn't bad or anything, it was just because the owner was allergic. But I am glad we have her. She is 2 years old. I love her so much ans she is perfect. I love my dogs.

Charlie is 4 now and this is a pic of him as a pup. He is turning 5 though in the summer. He is so great. Some of you may think he isn't cute now but he is as cute now as he was as a pup.View Profile
We rescued Maggie from a shelter on November 11 2006(Rememberence day). She was born into a family then bought. the family had her for a week and then gave her to the pound because of allergies. Before we got her, she went to a foster home for a week and when we got her, she was 5 months. Her birthday was June 13 2006, the same as mine but a different year. We had so many good times and she was the best dog you could ever have. She was so trained and sweet. Her and my other dog Charlie the Cairn Terrier were the best of friends. A few days before July 1st 2008 (Canada Day), we were at our camp on Manitoulin Island and she got really sick, she had foll on to the ground. Instantly we called the vet, but since it was a Saturday night we had to call the emergency vet at the same place. My family and I jumped in the car and put her in too. We drove there and left at 11 o'clock at night. She didn't come home with us because she was still really sick, our neighbor's worker had put something out that was poison for the chipmunks and she got into it. The man who did it didn't remember what it was called so we were just giving her medicine. When we left the office my family and I were all crying because the condition she was i n made it seem like she wasn't going to make it. We got the expected call early in the morning and she had made it!! So now Sunday we didn't go back to the office because she wasn't ready to go home and seeing her in that state would make us cry again. All day we kept getting phone calls from the vet telling us what was going on. Are other dog Charlie (he is also on my profile and is a cairn terrer) could tell something was up the moment she didn't come home. They used to play together so much and were the best of buds. That night we all preyed she would make it. It was the Monday July 1st morning. It was Canada's Day. We got a call from the vet saying she had become unconscious and there was no getting out of it. IT was down fall after that so we had decided to put her to sleep. She died on Canada's day July 1st 2008 at the age of 2. I have never been the same without her. We were her fifth home and we actually loved her. I miss her so much. May she rest in peace.View Profile
