Profile: Hi my name is Adriana. I am sixteen years young. I've had 2 dogs during my life. The first was Texas. Texas was a terrier mix and the best dog we've ever had. He was the most loyal companion to us. Than one day he ran out of the house and was hit by a truck..he survived that. We ran out to help him when a car was coming and just ran over him. He died. It happened about 3 years ago and I still can't get over the pain. The second dog is our newest addition, Harley. We got him recently after 3 years of Texas being gone, to help us heal. I can tell you Harley is certainly doing a good job, and adding tons of stress at the same time by chewing everything up and destroying everything he sees. We call him Tornado-Harley. Tough we love him just the same!

We got Texas on x'mas 2004. He was 8 weeks old and the most loyal, loving, playful dog you can possibly meet. He never changed. He loved everyone and everything and would do anything you tell him too. He was an extremely smart little man and would learn so quickly it was so hard to keep up with him ourselves! He almost always had a smile on his face! Than one day like all terriers, he dug a hole under our fence and ran off. Luckily we noticed him but it was too late...He ran across the street and a huge truck was coming his way, he turned to face it and he just froze. The truck ran him over. Luckily he survive but was laying there crying. We ran out as fast as we could when a car passed by and ran right over him without even stopping afterwards. He died. If we only went a little faster...I will never forget the face he made when he thought everything was going to be ok. We miss him and he will never be forgotten. Please leave some words to remember Texas. Rest In Peace Texas. Love you forever. You will never be replaced. October 22, 2004 - December 2nd 2006View Profile
Harley is a beautiful big 9 month old staffie boy. After almost 3 years of grieving over the loss of Texas we've decided to open up our hearts to a new member. After shelters and shelters and dogs and dogs...We found Harley. It was an instant connection. Harley was brought to the shelter at 4 months of age after being abused and neglected as a puppy. He was taken to the shelter with his mom, dad and surviving siblings. 4 of his siblings died due to illness and neglect. All of the surviving siblings have found homes quickly but Harley didn't. He was in the shelter for 5 months until we got him and he hasn't given up hope. He is the most friendly, out-going dog you will ever meet. His best friend is Mr.Plush. A toy he's had since he was a pup and he's never let go of him. As you can see Mr.Plush looks just like Harley!! lol! Harley has given us so much joy since he's came into our homes I don't imagine life if I haven't had turned around and seen his eyes glaring into mine.View Profile
