Add to FriendsI had a litter of six puppies from my 2 gorgeous adult goldens. I had this litter as I wanted their beautiful traits to be passed on & I wanted to keep a puppy. This will be their only litter & Phoenix was my pick. Although I loved them all, Phoenix's adorable wavy ears & inquisitive eyes made her my favorite. She is the largest in the litter & her calm demeanor allowed the smaller puppies to play with her in a very forgiving way. She will be much loved & have oodles of fun playing & growing up with mom & dad. UPDATE: I noticed Phoenix having problems at 3 1/2 months. Too me she seemed to be less likely to play or jump on things or eat like normal. After a couple of trips to the vet, we were referred to Calgary at 5 months of age for hip displaysia. Dr. Neil Connery performed a surgery that has changed her life! We noticed a 100% improvement within 2 days. She will never have normal hips but with care, can live a normal happy life. This was not a hip replacement & I hope other people in the same position, have a wonderful surgeon like this one. NOTE. I had my dogs artificially inseminated. Their hips were fine & their grand parents were fine. But my sweet girl, somehow got the multiple genes to give her this condition. She is doing so well now & we can let her live like a puppy again!
View ProfileI named this girl 'Hope' because my mom was so sick with a rare genetic disease plus she was the runt of the litter. Unknown to me at the time, little Hope had a heart murmur. Very harmless & I have had it checked every 2 weeks. She is fine & the vet cannot hear to much of anything. At six months of age, Hope no longer has a murmur (just a puppy thing). She is such a sweet girl, lays at my feet while grooming.
