Gimli was found in December, tied to a tree in a forest by a gas station. The kind woman who found him says he was covered in ants and that he had grown into his collar by a whole inch (!). This collar had to be surgically removed, and he had 15 stitches along his neck - which is healing very well. With his story and his adorable face, we had to take him home. We adopted him on January 5th 2009. Our precious baby is so sweet and so smart, we shower him with love endlessly. It really is a miracle that he has found his way to our home and our hearts. "I am now 8 months old and am growing day by day! I like long walks, including those on the beach - as long as the water stays away from me. I have a bunch of toys to play with, but my favorites currently are my football and my teddy bear!"
