SamoyedLover's Puppies

Allie is a sweet Japanese Spitz. I got her after my 3 month old Samoyed, Nikota, passed away. She has made my life so much better and I am glad that she is with me. She is my little baby and is the best puppy anyone could ask for. Al loves to play and sleep next to her big brother, Bandit. My life would be very different without her. I love you Allie Girl :)

Bandit is a 3 year old Border Collie Mix. I rescued him from the Humane Society after he had been abused by an ungrateful family who really did not care about him. Bandit has been a sweet, loving dog ever since I got him at 9 months of age. He is still a little cautious of people, but he is gradually starting to trust them. Bandy lives his life well and loves to play in the snow (as you can see in his pictures). He also enjoys playing with his new little sister, Allie the Japanese Spitz. I love Bandit so much and I am really glad that I rescued him. I don't know what my life would have led to if I did not have him. He means the world to me, and I never want him to be abused ever again. Bandit is a gentle sweetheart and is the most playful, happy dog you could ever meet. I love you, Bandit! Thank you for making my life a whole lot better!

Nikota was my sweet baby. I miss her so much and I can't stand to think about the day I lost her. She was only 3 months old. Her life was not long, which makes me even more upset. It was a sunny morning when Nikki starting acting strange and chewing at her side. I felt it, and too my surprise, there was a large lump sticking right out of her skin. At first, I thought that everything was going to be okay. I called the vet for an appointment and they said to come right away. I started to worry a little bit, but just scopped up Nikota and left. When we got there, the vets had horrible news. It was a tumor. They said that it shouldn't be hard to get rid of, but surgery was needed. I was very worried about Nik. Would she be okay? Was she going to live? The vets were about to do the surgery when they noticed the lump was gradually getting bigger. They did more tests. They discovered that the tumor had cancer. I sobbed and sobbed when the vets told me that she may not live. They tried to get rid of the tumor, but it was no use. She started fading away from life. I knew she was going to be gone. The night of June 24, 2009 was the worst night of my life. I was petting her in the vets office when she started whining and breathing hard. She was in pain and passing away. She died in about 1 minute after the hard breathing and yelping. I couldn't stop crying for over a week. Every day I would think about her, and I would just sit and cry. I didn't know where to go, what to do. My Border Collie Mix, Bandit, seemed clueless, too. He missed Nikota just as much as I did and searched frantically everyday for her. He would bolt around the yard, around the house, and he seemed eager to go for walks to search for her. I made up my mind one day to get a second dog. She looks a lot like a Samoyed, but she is a Japanese Spitz. Her name is Allie, and she is a sweetheart. She reminds me so much of Nikota its scary. They have the same personality. Bandit is satisfied, too. I am happy to have Allie, but I still miss Nikki with all my heart. IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY SWEET NIKOTA GIRL. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
