Meet my 5 year old miniature poodle Gabby. Gabby was recently adopted from the Lange Foundation in West Los Angeles. They rescued her from the South Central Animal Shelter, where the woman who brought her in reported she was living in a gang house being used as a bait dog. When Gabby came in, she was covered in matted fur and had a cataract completely covering one eye. A month after surgery, Gabby is doing well acclimating to her new home and her new life in Santa Monica. She loves going for walks, snuggling in her dog bed, and of course cookies. She is the sweetest most patient little girl who lets us brush her every day and will even sit still to have bows put into her hair. When she meets someone new, her little nub of a tail goes wild, and if she really likes them, she will lay down on her back for a belly rub.
