*The day... You slipped away... Was the day... I found it won't be the same... I hope you CAN hear me... I remember it clearly...* Lilly was my first and won't be my last golden. She was everything to me. She got hit by my stupid neighbor's four wheeler. She was my best friend and I miss her so much just writing this I'm crying. The profile picture is the first picture I got of her:) She showed up on our door one morning when she was just a pup. We fed her and she kept coming around and then we took her as our dog. I had never had a dog before, and she inspired me to write 2 books that I hope to get published when I'm older:) R.I.P. Lilly!!! P.S. (THE PROFILE PIC IS ME W/ HER WEN I WAS LIL) ;)View Profile
On 12/19/09: I had just got done with hockey practice when i looked at my phone and saw there was 9 missed calls... 5 from my mom, 2 from my sister and the rest from my dad. Baja had gone missing and I miss him so much i haven't been able to do anything but cry. I really want him to come home:( Baja really DID find us. We went to the animal shelter because we decided we just couldn't live without a dog after Lilly passed. :( So, there I was scanning up and down looking for a smaller dog, but not necessarily a puppy. Then I spotted Baja, He was curled up in his little blanket, you could hardly tell there was a puppy in there:) I called him to the front of the kennel and imidietly he came to me... That's when I knew *He belongs with us* I called mom and dad over to me and they fell in love as well:) SO, we took the sweet boy home that day. We're not exactly sure what kind he is, But our best guess is just a basset hound mix. He was 4 months when we brought him home, and is 6 yrs. now. And I have loved every minute of having him in my life! I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!! I HOPE YOUR HAPPY:)... WHEREVER YOU ARE:(View Profile
My friends' dog, my friends' words:"About my dog Cooper, the Australian shep. Mix. I got him from a Puppy Rescue Shelter/Foster Home in Modesto California, June 4th 2005. He was 9 weeks old when I got him, making his date of birth around March 31, 2005. Full grown now, Cooper weighs about 92 lbs (as of last vet visit), so definitely is closer to a Golden in size than an Aussie, a big Golden. He'll take the attention if you're giving it, but he'll also completely ignore an outstretched hand when walking by someone who's trying to pet him. It's almost like a fake out, he'll seem to be coming right to you, then he'll veer off at the last second. He can be aloof, I guess, but not really to me. He's a funny guy, he makes me laugh a lot, especially when he gets into super puppy play mode, which still happens quite often. There's nothing better than coming home to my dog wiggling his whole rear end, along with his tail, and doing his affection so happy to see you funny sound, which actually sounds like he's sneezing, but he only does it right when I get home. I couldn't ask for a better companion and look forward to many more years with my best friend Cooper."View Profile

She would chase chickens.. would go to dog park.. made new friends there everyday... sleep.... eat... gets spoiled visits from me... and learned how to play hockey!(kind of) She's my little princess:) I luv her sooo much!!! I'm glad she's my pup we;re both very lucky girls(: Now she lives at our house now that Baja is gone.. :( But is very happy she gets to be with me 24/7View Profile
Theo is my older sister's dog. After Lilly passed and she moved out and got married, she new she wanted another golden. So they got married and got a dog. And of course, it was a golden they got Theo from a old family friend of her husband's family. Theo is like a child to them. My sister can't have kids, so it was really important to her to have a dog. Theo is a very well behaved young dog that my whole family loves:) He reminds me SO much of Lilly, it's scary. In a way, Theo is like my dog too. He loves coming over and fallowing me around the farm. He's here alot during the weekdays and since I'm home schooled I spend lots of time with him my sister or my uncle drop him off in the morning on their way to work and come get him at night when they get off. I'm so glad I have Theo in my life!View Profile
