Profile: Nothing makes me smile and feel my heart skip a beat like a dog does. They have such sweet souls, and know your every emotion. I wish I could take in all dogs that need a home and give them the love and respect they deserve.

My name is Ronan.I was adopted from Friends of Strays in St. Pete, Florida after my folks had to put their best friend to sleep. The shelter said I am a rat terrier mix, but most agree I am part shepherd too. My mom tells me I am very sweet and smart, and boy can I run FAST! I love to cuddle and be held like a baby. My favorite past time is running thru and attacking the sprinklers when they are on. I also love to steal socks and pick tissue out of the garbage even though I get fussed at when I do it. I also like to tease Roxy by taking her toys and running off with them-its funny! My Dad likes to call me Bubba and my Mom calls me Sugar baby. I am a good big brother to little sister Roxy, a good pal and can tell my folks are smitten with me!View Profile
My name is Roxy and I was headed for the SPCA when my Aunt Cyndi intercepted me and brought me to my new Mom. I was very little and cried all the time, my new Mom sat in the chair some nights holding me because I was too young to be away from my real Mommy. I had to eat baby food for a few weeks and I liked it alot! My Mom is a Lab and my Dad is a Pit bull. I am a very affectionate girl,I am always smiling and always happy, and I listen very, very well. Ronan and I love to play and run thru the back yard. When he goes out I stand at the back door and cry until I see him again, I love my big brother very much and everyone loves me! My Mom calls me honey bear and my Dad calls me funny stuff like apple bottom cuz I'm a big girl! I am a very vocal girl, I walk around making a noise my Mom calls "honking" I sound like a goose! I love to run around the back yard with some sort of treasure (a rock, a stick, etc.) in my mouth, I'm such a happy girl! My favorite thing is to walk under your legs as you sit in a chair and get my fanny scratched! woo-hoo!View Profile
Hannah was the first dog my husband and I got as a married couple. She was named after a song by Hootie and the Blowfish, our favorite band at the time. She was extremely beautiful and just as much strong willed. She once protected me from a home intruder by chasing them off as they entered our home. She loved to walk around dragging blankets and sucked on them since she was a baby, we always call her Linus. She was very funny and full of life. We lost her when she was 12 years old to a heart defect that the vets never detected and learned it should have taken her life by six months of age, which goes to show you she was meant to be in our lives. We miss her every single day.View Profile
