Profile: I love critters. I love dogs that have a luxurious long coat. My husband and I have 3 dogs and 3 cats. We have a 10 year old lab mix, a 9 year old golden retriever, a 9 month old yorkie, a 7 year old himalayian persian, a 5 year old bobtail, and a big 2 year old maine coon mix cat. We love them dearly and I couldn't imagine living without a animal of some kind in our house, it would be too quiet.

Kimi(short for Kimono)is our first yorkie, has she ever been an adventure! I got her on my birthday which is 5 days before Christmas and she was the best present I've ever gotten. She loves playing with her kitties and her big sisters Brandi(lab mix) and Vitani(golden retriever). She loves visiting her sissy Hannah too. I didn't realize how much I could fall in love with something that is so small! She goes on car rides everywhere and loves everyone. We even take her to taekwondo with us sometimes and she wants to play with everyone there. She's so brave but she has the yorkie complex about her size though!View Profile
Brandi is my baby girl although she's 11 now. I got her December 8th of 98 when she was around 8 weeks old. Her momma was a pit bull mix, we think lab was the other mix, and her dad was a border collie/ bluetick coonhound mix. She takes mostly after the border collie not only with color and hair texture, but in personality too. She tries to herd everything she plays with, its so cute. But she is extremely protective of me. She loves everything and everyone. She's so smart, she's always thinking behind those beautiful blue eyes.View Profile
Tani is our big, red golden retriever. She tops the scale at 80 pounds, which is 25 over the standard, but she's my beauty. I got for valentines day in 2000. She is 10 now and is showing no signs of slowing down. She's always been so hyper and has had a serious separation problem. She hates storms and is terrified of fireworks, so summer isn't a good season for her, plus she has a lot of hair. She always alerts us of things, whether they be there or not. She has so much endurance, we go on walks everynight and has a fit when the walk is done.View Profile
Angel is my mom's dog. I adopted her last August from a friends grandmother who passed away. They were going to take her to a shelter and her fate probably would've been grimm, she is however 11 years old now. She had a few lessons to learn when she came to our house, though. She aperently had the rule of the roost were she used to be at. We've had to teach her to go outside instead of my hardwood floors and carpets, and that barking in the middle of the night for no apperent reason was a no-no. But for being set in her ways she's done beautifully. She rarely goes in the floor now, she lets mom know when she needs to potty, there are still and always be accidents. Old dogs can learn new tricks. She's been a wonderful companion for my mom. She looks so much better now than we got her. Her owner had to go to a nursing home for 2 months before she passed and her daughter came by once a day to care for her. Her owner took pride in her coat and care, but sadly for those 2 months her coat that "hit the floor" went unbrushed and she had many skin infections from matts. As a result of the stress from being left alone she chewed her feet to the point she couldn't walk. She still does it from time to time when left alone to long but her feet look so much healthier now. She's a good girl I'm thankful we found a great forever home in my moms arms.View Profile
