Kazuki

Kazuki

Update: Kazuki has gone to his new home today! Merry Christmas! *************************************** Kazuki is a seven month old pup in need of a loving and active new home. He was left behind by his old owners in the house where he was found as it was being boarded up. He is a mix of terrier, sheperd and akita, mostly akita. He's got gorgeous toffee eyes and a lovely thick coat with a curly tail. He loves attention and is a very fast learner. Good with children and most dogs and seems friendly enough with cats if they don't run. Please give this adorable boy the home he deserves. For more information, go to www.pawzforthought.org.

Sascha

Sascha

Sascha is a highly intelligent Collie cross who needs to be kept mentally and physicaly active. She also has the most awesome tail wag we have ever seen on a dog, it seems to start from the tip of her nose and extend through her whole body. During her time with her previous family, her recall has improved a lot. Sasha loves her walks, going out in the car, and is also fine to be left alone as long as she has her toys to play with, she is scrupulously clean in the house. Sascha will make the right person a hugely loyal and loving pet, but that person has to be the right one for Sascha (an experienced collie owner). She can be fear aggressive to other dogs and needs to be under control when near any other animals. Sascha is fine with older (teenage) children and adults but cannot be homed with younger children. What Sascha needs more than anything else in this world is a Collie savvy owner who has the time to devote to her to keep her mind and body active, and to help her through the next stages of her developement. In 9 months she has come so far and now she needs the right people to take her on the rest of her journey. Are you that person? Please visit www.pawzforthought.org for more information.

Paddy

Paddy

Four year old Paddy is a lively medium sized dog who is a very friendly socialised boy. He needs lots of interesting walks as he is quite bouncy. He has done some agility training. He deserves a fun loving home. He is a little star, but unfortunately has just come back in because he was not suited with an elderly family member as he can be be a live wire if not exercised. Anyone meeting Paddy cannot fail but be smitten with his lovely nature. Please visit www.pawzforthought.org for more information.

Norman

Norman

Norman is a handsome six year old man who is looking for a home with an experienced dog owner, who will continue his training. He is calm and affectionate. We think he would be best off living in a home with no other pets. If you live in the North East of England and are interested in adopting Norman, please go to http://www.pawzforthought.org.

Kebe

Kebe

Kebe returned to Pawz for Thought one week ago when his mum died. Kebe is a legend at Pawz - he was bumped by a car in Pallion around 7 years ago. He was taken to the vets by the dog warden and a couple of days later we collected him from the vets and went into kennels. He was a bit of of grumpy lad and we despaired of ever getting him a home. Months passed then we had a call from a lady needing a companion who would also give her a bit of security as she lived in an area where there was a lot of trouble. Hoping against hope we took Kebe to meet her. She said she would take him and see if he settled. After a shaky start, she rang to say he was never going anywhere and she wanted to adopt him. Kebe became her son as she often called him. He foiled 3 attempted break-ins at her home and was the apple of her eye. She was disabled and used a motorised wheelchair. Kebe took well to the chair and she would take him on long walks. When he got tired, he would jump onto her knee and get a ride home. Kebe aquired a wardrobe of clothes and hats and became well known in the area where they lived. He wanted for nothing and everything was looking very good for them both when 18 months ago they were moved into a house suitable for wheelchair use and a garden for Kebe. Today was the day of her funeral. I went and collected a huge quantity of Kebe's belongings including his santa sack, which was under the tree filled with his presents. He would have been cooked a full Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. Now he is in kennels and we are looking for an angel to offer to give him a home for the last lap of his life. Kebe is around twelve and he is epiletic. If someone would give him a couple of weeks trial, they would keep him. Apparently he seems to enjoy the company of female dogs. He does need a quiet home and some decent walking as he is a little overweight at present. If you would like to give Kebe a home for Christmas, please get in touch. He is too old to be in kennels and we dont have a fosterer who can take him. All we want for Christmas is to get our dogs out of kennels and into homes and Kebe is tearing our hearts apart. Please call and chat if you feel you can help on 07718771591 or 0191 5491982 or contact us via our web page at Pawz for Thought - http://www.pawzforthought.org. Thank you, Lynne
