Bella Boop

Bella Boop

We came across Bella through a family divorce, and she needed a permanent home. She was around a year old when we received her and she's grown to be a beautiful and loving little girl. She loves food too much and always gets treats because we can't resist her charm. She is best friends with our other puppies, Joey (Chihuahua/Boston Terrier) and Princey (Beagle). She's an inside dog, and does not like the outdoors much. A funny sight is to see her in the snow because she hops around. Bella Boop has so much personality and spunk. As of now, she's three years old, but still a puppy at heart.

My family came across Joe randomly. My mom's co-worker knew someone who had a Chihuahua that needed a home (he kept digging through the fence). We already had two dogs, Bella and Princee, but my mom cared too much to let him go. Since we've had him, he has not tried to get out of the fence and has only run off once (and came back immediately). I believe he's part Boston Terrier because he's bigger than the average Chihuahua and has the exact coloring. Bella and Joe have a love-hate relationship, but he gets along really well with our Beagle, Princee. They love to stay outside and chase squirrels.

We found Princey's mom off of a highway and soon realized that she was very pregnant. We decided to keep her and help with her birth, and it finally happened about a week or two after we found her. She had nine puppies! Princey was one of two smaller puppies. The other, Lucky, had deformed legs so my parents had to put him down (I wanted to make a puppy wheelchair-like contraption, but it was too stressful for my parents). We gave 8 of the puppies and the mother, Lucy, to other homes (Lucy was an ex-hunting dog). I've had Princey her whole life, since I could even hold her in one palm. She's very close to my heart and I love her so much! She's the sweetest puppy I know, and will lick you until your face falls off. She's very polite and doesn't jump on you. Her favorite thing to do is run in our back yard, chasing birds and squirrels with Joey. At heart, she's a hunting dog. I really want to take her with me to my apartment next semester, but I know she will miss her best friends (Boop and Joey) and needs space to run and play. She has beautiful eyes that look like amber stones up close.

Edgar Napoleon

Edgar Napoleon

I adopted Edgar Napoleon, or as I call him Eggy, from a Mennonite farm in Amelia, VA. He was used to a rural life, but now he's a pure city dog. He lounges around all day and only plays for a few minutes at a time (which consists of playful biting and running in circles around the apartment). He is a farting machine. He howls whenever he hears sirens, and sometimes he'll howl minutes after they've passed. He rubs his face all over everything, especially door frames. He loves his toy, Mr. Penguin. He was born as the runt of the litter, so he's a fighter. He's the rolliest, stubbiest pug I have ever met! He eats everything off of the floor; fuzz is his favorite. However, he doesn't like human food very much. He's a very picky eater. If he is on a couch/bed and another animal is on the floor, he goes crazy and barks at them and vice versa! Except for that, he is the most laid back creature. He loves everyone he meets, but only gives kisses to the lucky ones.
