In Loving MemoryIntelligent, affectionate and accommodating; looks like a mini honey bear!
View ProfileNie1 is short for Brownie1. We had two pups, Brownie1 and Brownie2. They both had parvo virus and Brownie2 did not survive. Nie1, I feel, is overly affectionate because of the care given to her while she was very ill. She loves sleeping on my stomach, chest and legs. She needs close contact all the time. She is good natured and plays with all of our other dogs. She is especially close to Sumi2 (her grandmother) and one of the dashchunds called Wobbles. Nie1 loves eating fruits like mandarin oranges, persimmon, papaya and mangoes. She helps herself to the mangoes if they are low enough or eats the half-eaten ones that the birds or bats have knocked off our mango tree! She also goes crazy when I water the plants; she runs around and leaps into the air, trying to catch the water from the garden hose. Out of frustration, she pulls or bites off leaves when she cannot reach the water, an instant pruner!

In Loving MemoryWobbles was born eight years ago. She was always very loving but very timid. She would only come to me but to no other human being. She was a very shy dog. Her two good friends were Nie1 and Sumi2, both cocker spaniels. Wobbles loved romping in the garden with Nie1 and she would spent time with Sumi2 by cleaning her eyes and ears. She was a natural born groomer! Last Saturday, a monitor lizard bit Wobbles and on Monday the 13th of September, 2010, Wobbles went to her happy hunting grounds. We miss you so much, Wobbles. You will always be in our hearts.

In Loving MemoryVangeordie was the love of my life! He was always by my side; such a sweet loving dog! He loved water and his daughter, Nie1, is just the same. He loved leaping into the air to try to catch the water coming out from my watering hose whenever I was watering my plants. At the end of each watering session, he would be soaking wet! He would then run into the house and sit down, ready to be towelled! Each and everytime, when I returned from travelling overseas, he would sit next to me and shower me with kisses. Vangoeordie was having a cough for a few days and went to his happy hunting grounds very suddenly at the age of seven. He died on the 13th of September, 2009. Unfortunately, it was the day after I had left for Germany for a short holiday. I am so happy that I had the chance to hold him close and shower him with kisses before I left. Fortunately, he left us with Nie1, a replica of himself, sweet, adorable and loving. We will always miss you, Vangeordie. We love you for always!
