In Loving MemoryRescued from a bad place, as many pits live a life devoid of family friends and birthday parties. Well, this pit has it all. With sadness we had Oscar "put to sleep" this morning, Aug. 6, 2012. He died of kidney failure. He left us too soon and our hearts miss him so. He is buried in the field he played in, beside other friends waiting at Rainbow Bridge. He was always a good boy.

My old partner Duke. He's always been a good friend, tolerant of my whims, always ready to do as I wish. Never was aggressive, but always stands in front of me when dogs approach. "Get away from my mom." He's always made me proud.

Jackson was rescued from a hoarders yard when he was about 10 weeks old. He went to an irresponsible home, no regular meals,no housebreaking (used the closet) and no friends. I found him tied to a post being teased by kids. After eight years he understands the bathroom rules, but still eats anything he can fit in his mouth. A very average dog, mid-size and an inbred mess of genetic issues. Still, he is endlessly loyal with the heart of a lion. We dearly love our Jack
