In Loving MemoryWe had to let Gus go on March 9, 2009, after almost 12 years together. It was the right thing for him, but our hearts our breaking. We will never forget you, Gus! ----------------------------- Gus was left at a Chicago shelter more than eleven years ago. The sign on his cage door said, "Approach me carefully. I'm shy," but it didn't stop him from finding a new family. He is now twelve years old, and although a little arthritic, blind, and deaf, still enjoys a good life of treats, tummy rubs, and tons of love from his moms.
