I got Riley when he was 7 months old back in May 2008 - only two weeks after I moved into my first house. He had been brought up from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. As time went on we found out he had been hit by a car, might have been used as bait for fighting dogs, and shot - still has the bullet in his leg! He has hip dysplasia from his tough early life, but after one surgery already seems better. You would never know any of this as he loves everyone! People, children, other dogs - and has the sweetest disposition in the world. He has truly made my new house a home.
